“good place to stay”
It's like an apartment, not big but tidy. And the location is nice, very close to the queen street.
“Not Bad At All”
I enjoyed the fact that it felt like my own tiny apartment rolled into one. The neighbourhood is a bit creepy after dark, but the hotel itself seems worth the money.
“Kinda sketchy, but it did the trick”
Just stayed one night 'cause we needed a crash pad after clubbing on a Friday night. Clean, functional room, but the Renoir print had fallen off the wall and shattered before we even got there, so it was a bit dangerous. Lots of broken glass.
“Decent accomodations”
The hotel was about what we expected for the price. We would not have paid more than the discounted Expedia price for the room. The normal hotel price was steep for the value of the stay. The hotel served it's purpose. We wanted something cheap and relatively close to downtown. It was close enough that we could walk everywhere we wanted to go to in the area. Overall, it was a decent experience. The staff was very nice and extremely helpful.
“Good value for money”
Hotel is close to transportation, and is walking distance to CN tower/Rogers center. It was perfect for traveling alone, because rm was alittle small.I would stay at this hotel again
“Great for the price”
It's a budget hotel, but very good for it's price. Nice service, acceptable rooms, and awesome location.
“The Grange Hotel”
We have stayed at the Grange Hotel twice on visits to Toronto. It is a good hotel for people who desire a clean room but do not require deluxe accomodations or amenities. While the room is spartan, we were happy with the staff and found the cleanliness superior to some other hotels. The kitchenette is an added bonus. Its location in Chinatown and several blocks to Kensington Market & Queen Street West is ideal for those wishing to be part of the urban nature of Toronto . We would probably not recommend it to people who want to feel as if they never left American suburbia. But for urban travelers looking for inexpensive accomodations close to public transit, walking distance to a vital night life and with a chance to have a meal in, try it. Also if one of your party is a runner the park close by and the streets offer a pleasant 1/2 mile course.
“For the budget mind traveller”
Not a bad place to stay if you don't mind staying off the beaten path. Walking distance to Chinatown.
“Simple and enough”
I stayed there while going to a show at Rogers Centre during a week day. I could go walking, the hotel has parking and free internet. All I needed.
“cant wait to go back”
its an apartment converted to a hotel differnt
