“Great location Short drive to shopping”

This hotel was very close to major shopping areas. Easy to find, satisfied with room - free movies! Will stay there again in the future. Free wifi and pool has a waterslide!

“Value for the Money”

We were in town to do some shopping at Vaughan Mills mall. This hotely met our needs of having a place to sleep and a complementary light breakfast in the morning. Not alot of bells and whistles but good value for the money.

“I think we hit a bad weekend...”

Rooms themselves were great, but I think we hit a bad weekend. The elevator was not in service (we were on the 3rd floor), the juice machine for breakfast was not in service and nothing else was offered for the kids to drink. The pool was absolutely freezing and the whirlpool went to the extreme the other way. Waterslide was great, service was great, rooms were comfy and clean and what was available for breakfast was okay - definitely not a great selection though of stuff. No fresh fruit, yogurt or hot chocolate.

“I Would use again”

The hotel suited my one night stay. Was close to the activity I was attending. There were general food establishments within a short walk. The friendliness of the staff made up for any of my overly picky observations. The breakfast provided and the area tables and seating was very pleasant with continuous TV news playing. The pool water did not look appealing to me, it was not crystal clear but cloudy. However the children seemed to enjoy the pool. There was also a water slide.

Area recommendations
I am not qualified to make this recommendation as I truly do not know the areas surrounding Toronto. However Vaughan which is the home of Canada's Wonderland theme park seems to be a quiet area. I never felt uncomfortable during my stay.

“Weekend away”

Very close to Canad's Wonderland. Area was quiet. Easy to get to from HWY 400..

“Close to Wonderland”

Selected this hotel as it is close to wonderland. Nice hotel for this price range. Room was clean and quiet. The indoor pool and hot tub had a bit too much chlorine for my liking. It can be a bit tricky to get to the hotel due to the exit design on the highway.

Getting there
There is no southbound exit from the 400 highway onto Steeles avenue so plan ahead!

“Good value for the money”

Hotel was clean. Probably better than what you would expect from a Super 8 hotel. Lots of parking space and conveniently located near the hi way. Free wireless internet in the rooms @ 48 kbps and lots of restaraunts in the area. Overall, I'd say good value for the money for a no frills hotel.

“HAPPY CAMPER”

Super 8 is a Superb Hotel with a modern Look and Relaxing Atmosphere. This Staff was Very Friendly and Attentive. I will definately be back.

“Average hotel”

Definitely got what I paid for... hotel room was adequate, but showing its age. Old bedspread, old carpet. Bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok for the price. Pool heater was broken, my daughter couldn't handle the cold water. Slide is closed during the day, only open when lifeguard on duty. You have to walk through the lobby to get to the pool/hottub area - not ideal in the winter!! (we had to wear our winter boots and our bathing suits!!) I would only recommend this hotel to travellers on a budget. I will spend a little extra next time and stay somewhere else!
