“Chic, Modern and Spacious”

We stayed in a luxury room and it was wonderful. Very spacious - from the dressing area, bath, bedroom/sitting area. My only issue was that the pillows were very uncomfortable; even the ones we ordered up from the Sleep concierge. Next time we will insist on Down pillows. We ate breakfast each morning at Sen5es bakery...the buffet was lovely. Yes, a little expensive, but we thought it was worth it.

“Going back this month!”

I selected this hotel for its close proximity to the train station and my company's Toronto office - both within walking distance. I was pleasantly surprised with how beautiful it was. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and will be a repeat visitor for all my business trips to the area.

“chic hideaway in downtown Toronto”

fun hotel in downtown T-dot. Close to great dining, theater, sports. Restaurant exellent at breakfast AND dinner. Lobby bar a little noisy, but music was a neat jazzy sound. All around a great stay.

“The Complete Hotel Experience”

I stay in a lot of hotels and the Soho Metropolitan compares with some of the best I have been to in Canada and the USA. I enjoy hotels where the staff are low key but professional and this was my experience at the Soho.Wireless Internet connection in the room was erratic and slow. This was my only complaint. Unlike another Hotel where I stayed in in Toronto a week before, when I asked for a Taxi to be called I was told to stand on the side walk(with my luggage no less) and hail one myself! Of course the concierge at the Soho did not tell me to go to the side walk but graciously orderded me one. Soho has the most luxiourious bedding - soft down duvets however being allergic they changed the duvet without hesitation. Being a woman I also judge hotels by the products in the bathroom - great shower gel & shampoo - I am sorry I did not take some home with me :). Also more than enough towels and toilet paper - another two of my strange ways of rating hotels. This hotel is also right in the Entertainment district - so was able to walk to the Royal Alexanra Theatre to see Carrie Fisher's one woman play, TIFF Bell Lightbox as well as The Second City comedy club which is right across the street from the Soho. Food wise there is lots ot choose from in the hotel as well as very close by. For the late risers there is Coras which serves delightful breakfast until 3pm!

“Look forward to staying at this hotel next time”

Expensive, but worth it. Upscale, but not pretentious. Super accommodating staff. Ultra comfortable, spacious room and bathroom. The hotel location on the lower west side of town was super convenient for walking and exploring the city. We didn't eat in the restaurant for dinner, but the breakfast buffet was wonderful.

“Great Hotel and Location!”

This was our second time staying at the Soho Metropolitan. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable. The location can't be beat for shopping and nightlife. We will definitely return.

“Cool Hotel!”

If you are looking for a place that is clean, quiet, and does not have 200 rooms of which half are being used by families with kids, this is the place for you. The rooms are spacious & clean. Staff is courteous. No view to speak of but for us that was fine...we didn't pick the hotel for the view. Bathroom - hands down the best of any hotel..soaker tub, glass shower, heated floors...awesome. Great location if you are spending time downtown (small walk away), catching a game or a theatrical production in the entertainment district. We are now trying to determine how soon we can go back! (P.S. Great little breakfast place across the street called Cora's)

“Excellent Hotel”

Terrific hotel. Large clean modern room. Very comfortable bed, lovely large bathroom with heated marble floors. Excellent friendly service. Close to the harbor. No view to speak of, but, oh well...

“Very nice hotel”

Service was extremely good and personal, room was very large, clean and nice. Only drawback was that the tv is positioned in a very silly and impractical spot, very uncomfortable to watch from the bed.

“A good place to stay in Toronto!”

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It is within a reasonable distance from most of the downtown "action". It is indeed worthy of the term "luxury". The bed was very comfortable and the room was quite clean. The cafe and restaurant were too expensive and not to our tastes. We had breakfast in a nearby cafe and dinner in various downtown restaurants.
