“Great place to stay in downtown Toronto!”
We really enjoyed this hotel. We stay here every year and love the location and the staff is really nice. Management here seems to be very well versed in customer satisfaction as well. We will stay here again on our next trip to Toronto.
“Formidable”
“More than expected”
Big room, big comfy bed, bath robes, great bar overlooking Rogers Centre. We were very pleased with our stay at the Renaissance and regretted we couldn't have spent more time in the room. However, that's because the hotel is in the best area for walking around. It's just five minutes from the harbour front, where we had a fabulous dinner, after seeing a Blue Jays game. The hotel is right next door to the CN tower and just seemed to be close to everything.
“Great Hotel”
This hotel was perfect in every way as it was located in walking distance to many to attractions, nightclubs, shopping and restaurants. Not to mention that we were in town to catch a baseball game and much to our surprise were able to meet many players from the Chicago White Sox in the lobby of the hotel!
“Great Stay for Baseball Fans”
This hotel is great for the baseball fan. We didn't have to do any walking with staying here. There are plenty of restraunts and places to get a drink located within the hotel and stadium. The CN tower is about a 5 minute walk from here. Great views of the field from inside the restaurants! Rooms were very clean, roomy and great views. Hotel staff was nice and accomadating. It was very hard to find the hotel parking lot, especially during game time. That was the only problem.
“Good Times”
The hotel has great service and the beds are super comfy. In the heart of the downtown area, there are plenty of options for eating and entertainment.
“Will go back to this hotel in the future.”
Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Our one concern was the stained carpet, everything else was clean. We loved the convenience of the location near the ball park and the theatre district.
“Excellent Experience!”
We stayed at this hotel with two teenagers in our room. The high speed internet hook-up was flawless, the concierge superb, the restaurant was excellent, service all around was top notch delivered with a true graciousness. If we ever travel back to Toronto, I would definitely stay here again. The view of the stadium from the restaurant is exquisite -- you don't even have to have a club room, just book your reservations at the restaurant early.
“4,5*, presque parfait”
“Will stay there everytime I am in Toronto”
When I looked at booking rooms in Toronto I kept coming back to the Renaissance as the place to stay. It is within a 10 minute walk of any attraction you would want to see in the Toronto area. Originally I had a room that was facing the city and as an avid sports fan my son and i wanted to face inside where we had a view of the baseball diamond. So when i first arrived at the hotel I asked for an upgrade to view the ball diamond. The desk clerk had me fixed up in no time at no extra cost ot myself. We walked into our room and right away the first thing we saw was centre field out our window. The unfortuante part is we left a day before the home opener but if I get to go see a ball game I will be watching it from one of these rooms. What a veiw! The Arriba restaurant located in the hotel was amazing as well. My sonn who is a picky eater did like what was served on the menu and they went out of there way to make him what he wanted. In closing, I wilalways stay there when ever I am in town and i would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for first class service. Especially if you are a blue colar worker like I am.
