“I would go back, next time when there is an event going on at the Dome.”
Beds were very comfortable and the room was spacious. Could use more dresser/drawars for clothes. Location was convienent for what we had to do.
“Amazing Stay”
Great place to stay - you can't beat the location and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was much better than expected and so clean! I'd definitely go back again if just for the wonderful treatment that we received.
“Renaissance stay”
Overall, very good experience. Would stay again.
“Great Hotel with a great location”
Nice clean rooms, large bathroom was great because I was travelling with my female friend. Lighting was bad in bathroom though. No good for putting on makeup. Otherwise, a very nice hotel. Can watch the events going on in the Rogers Center right from the lounge of the hotel. Also a bar set up there.
“Awesome Location”
This is a great place to stay if you are attending an event at Rogers Centre. The location is awesome. We have stayed here 6 to 8 times in the past several years and enjoy this hotel. The staff is awesome and very friendly. The restaurant is not that good and is very expensive. You get very little for what you pay and if you go there hungry you're likely to still be in need of finding a nearby hot dog vendor to take care of this.
“Fieldview room”
The fieldview room was great. We weren't in Toronto to see a game, but it was pretty cool to watch the workers putting the field back together after the U2 concert. The room was very spacious with a king bed, cabinet with refrigerator, desk and chair, chair and ottoman, and large bathroom. Very convenient to the lakeshore, theatres, Second City, CN Tower -and obviously the Rogers Centre. Really enjoyed our two night stay.
“monta”
Very nice hotel with great location. Pool is beautiful. If you go entertainment district, this hotel is the best location, but a little bit far from subway and Union station. I used Sky Walk from Union Station to the hotel, and I could not find entrance of the hotel and have to walk all the way around the Rogers Center to find entrance. You can look over the stadium from lobby bar. Nice place to drink .
“Toronto Baseball”
I used Expedia Unpublished Rates for our trip to see the Pirates play the Blue Jays and truly did not expect to get the Renaissance. It was awesome that we did. The room was very basic and we faced the railroad just one floor up from the stadium concourse. I tried for an upgrade and it was hard to work with the front desk people. They were too business-like and tried to charge me over double what I had already paid for an upgrade. I just wanted to be away from the train. The hotel had no outstanding amenities, very basic but nice. The bathroom was old and needed some attention. Room service knocked on the door 3 times at 7:00a and I did not order anything, so I did not answer...I don't know what that was about. Pool and fitness center were away from everything but adequate. Parking was on the other side of the stadium and underground but put you right in the lobby...in and out privileges. Bar area was great with much better service than the front desk. We actually watched the first inning from the bar. The hotel is close to restaurants and a little bit of nightlife without a taxi. The Hockey Hall of Fame is a nice walk down the road. Definitely a great deal for the Unpublished rate.
“Good gym, but a bit far away from everything besides Rogers Arena in Winter”
You could hear the train line, it was close to the main business district, but a fair walk from the tourist areas. The gym was really good.
“A major league hotel”
This is clearly the best place to stay if you are planning a visit to Rogers Centre. I came to Toronto specifically to see a baseball game, and it was a great experience. I especially enjoyed the view of the field from the hotel's restaurant / bar. Entrances to the stadium are a very short walk from the hotel lobby, and you don't even have to cross any streets. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly (even though we were Yankees fans!) We arrived well before check-in time, but we were able to get into our room anyway. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The beds are especially nice. We also enjoyed a very good breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Only negatives I encountered were an inability to get a WiFi connection (I did not want to pay extra for internet in the room), and I was not able to find a parking garage specifically for the hotel. I decided to take advantage of the valet parking, which was quite convenient. Toronto in general was very nice and the people were quite friendly.
