“Large rooms, service good, but feels a bit dated”

If you need to stay on airport and need a large room, Radisson suites is ok. Staff is friendly, bar/restaurant is low key and relaxed, nothing to write home about but as airport hotels go, it's good. 4-5 restaurants in walking distance plus a Tim Horton. Shuttle to the a/p runs every 30 minutes. Could do with a renovation through, feels a bit dated.

“Great locations and hotel... less comfy bed”

My stay at the radisson was great, it was a great location for what i was in town for, the only thing i would say that i did not like would be the sleep number bed.. its very hard to find a number thats i comfortable, they should just put normal comfortable matresses.. but apart from that a great stay!!

“Good value but very average hotel”

generally the hotel offers good value, close to restaurants and accessable. The rooms are spacious but the televisions are outdated and the washroom very tired. The internet connection in my room was poor.

“Toronto Layover”

We recently had a layover in Toronto and stayed at the Radisson. Good hotel but the shuttle service was slow and the complementary breakfast was not complementary when we inquired. Good room and facilities, but the next time I will stay at the Sheraton on site to avoid the travel back and forth after a long day of travelling. The staff was friendly at a basic level at best and as it was late when we arrived, we felt that we were bothering them rather than they being pleased to assist us.

“Room smelled awful and not very clean”

The room smelled awful and it was not particularly clean. I just think that with so many hotels in that vincinity, one could easily find better.

“Hidden costs”

We chose this hotel from a "Pet Friendly Toronto" list - it also had to be close to an elderly uncle's retirement home. It cost more than we usually pay but we decided to splurge. Expedia didn't give us the information about a $14 daily parking charge or a $50 taxable pet fee, adding another $80+ to our total. Not a good deal overall. Disinterested staff at the front desk. Strong bleach smell in all the linens. Very nice suite, though, and quiet. Wouldn't go again though because of the hidden costs. Even a fee for the water bottle in the room. Extra cost for everything.

“Close to Toronto Congress Center”

The location was great, maybe 60 meters and I was from hotel lobby to inside convention center. Service was kind of blah for a Radisson. Front desk people and bartenders were not inspired. Parking was a shock at $14 per day (when there was no local shortage). I would say it was "just OK", not up to usual Radisson standards. They could also use a few signs to help you find the driveway! Local restaurants were great.

“Parking should be included in cost”

I feel that people would be more satisfied if the hotel included in the nightly rate that is quoted. The client should be asked if they are traveling, by car. Extra costs that are not expected make for possible conflicts that could be avoided. This would make your people working at the reception desk easier, I think.

Area recommendations

The Beach area and Parkdale areas were very interesting with their different mixes of culturals, architectures and restaurants.
