I had a wonderful stay. The staff were lovely and accommodating. I really loved that the toiletries weren't made from single-use plastic containers. I'd love to see more sustainable initiatives like this including with the free breakfast - there were both regular plates, cutlery, etc. and also disposable - why not just have all regular/reusable to cut down on waste?

The bathroom in the first room appeared to not have been cleaned. Hair and other remnants in the shower and around the toilet. The walls and doors were damaged. I was worried we would be accused of causing the damage and be charged, so I did take pictures. The hallways were dirty, both tile and carpets. The finishes from whatever work that had been done were very poorly completed. Wallpaper is lifting, gaps where materials were cut too short or crooked. Paint splatters on the floors. Spoke with front desk regarding our dirty room who gave us an upgraded room. Somewhat cleaner but shower was also dirty with hair, yellowing and broken tile. Dirty around the baseboards and corners. Not hard to see especially with the dark floors. We were not nitpicking. Carpet in the bedroom, next to the closet is wet for whatever reason. We left it at that and just dealt with it. Did not want to complain again. Just a little shocked being that this hotel carries the Marriott name. We certainly paid enough for the room and had higher expectations.

Check-in and checkout were quick and painless, and the staff generally friendly and helpful. We were even able to check-in an hour early. Parking is simple and close, and the elevators were also close and quick. I loved the layout of their 1 bedroom suite. It was like a small condo. Perfect for the type of getaway we were looking for. A few notes on though - the mattress is plush and the pillows are soft. It was good for me, but may be a problem for anyone who is used to, prefers or needs a firmer mattress and/or pillow. The hotel was quiet and fairly clean. Same with the room, though the A/C/heat units are a bit loud. It didn't bother us, but I can see how it could be an issue for others. The curtains could be a bit wider (or maybe add snaps or something to connect the two sides in the middle?) as there is a gap between the two sides. In our particular room, the washroom door required a bit more of a push to get it to shut properly. (And if your a solid, six foot tall person, you may find it a bit small). Location-wise - It's close to the highway, and about 5-10 mins drive from shops, a grocery store and LCBO (Google maps is a great resource). They might not have room service, but you can order from Uber Eats and get food delivered to the hotel. Overall I really enjoyed our stay. Thanks TownePlace!

Love the newly renovated Townplace Suites. I love the addition of the breakfast area and breakfast choices for Travellers. It is quiet, clean and the staff are friendly ,knowledgeable and very accommodating. Keep up the good work.

Great Oakville Suite Hotel, quality and service!
Brand-new hotel facility with fantastic suites, including fully equipped kitchen and work areas within the suites are ideal for short or longer stays. Dining area with excellent free self-serve breakfast is really enjoyable. Outside barbeque and dining area is fantastic, connected to nice indoor pool with gym. Conference area is good for medium size groups and longer stays are supported with full laundry and helpful service.

This is a newly refurbished and rebranded hotel and all the facilities and furnishings show it. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Beds and linens are top notch. Rooms are equipped for meal preparation and storage but unfortunately there are no grocery stores nearby. No restaurant on site and limited dinning nearby. The included breakfast is decent buffet style food. Overall a pleasant place to stay.

Dead flies around the AC. Pool filter not running so the water is sitting there, not being filtered or cleaned. Too much chlorine in the pool to make-up for the malfunction filter. Rev was great, and she changed my room on the 9th floor because wifi and tv were not working. Gym was clean and excellent. Breakfast was good. I would return again despite the broken pool filter. Great customer service.

Great spot for being in between Toronto and the Falls. The front desk staff were lovely and the breakfast was good, but we felt bad because they seem understaffed. Due to the holiday weekend, it was packed! Room was nice - roomy and the outdoor seating area was nice. Room was roomy and clean.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location, right off the freeway, but not loud, and close to lots of stuff. We had a quiet stay, and the room was very spacious. It was also very clean! Thank you!

Very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. The breakfast was awesome it even include oatmeal with fixings. Our room had everything in it including dishwasher soap. It was a great experience in Canada.
