“No reason not to stay here”

The Novotel Toronto North York is an exellent hotel. The staff is professional, friendly, and helpful, and the rooms and the building are impeccably clean and comfortable. The hotel is located above a subway stop and on Yonge St, which is a major street in the city, and is only a few blocks from the 401 Expressway. . The hotel is part of a mall/office complex that has plenty of shops and restaurants. There is also a mall across Yonge Street.

“Novotel North York, Toronto, Ontario”

This is a new hotel, with friendly, knowledgable front desk personnel. The parking was connected to the hotel. It has lots of dinning and breakfast choices with room service or just walking into the adjacent mall or within one or two blocks from the building. It is on the other side of a park, very nice for this time of the year. Service at the restaurant was good and they have decent service for the internet in the lobby, including printing for free, specially good for checking into flights.

“Excellent hotel at a great price”

We enjoyed our stay & would stay there again. Our room was spacious, clean & modern. The only negative was that the aircon was tricky & the fridge was filled with minibar things that couldn't be moved without a charge, so I couldn't chill my bottled water. The buffet breakfast there was delicious & well priced. The staff were friendly & helpful too.

“A nice place to stay in Toronto”

Novotel North York is a bit of a hike from downtown, but it's fairly fast by subway. The hotel feels "Swiss" in that it's modern, well run, and sparklingly clean. It's fine as long as that's what you're looking for; it is NOT a place for "old world charm." It was quiet, and very comfortable. Room amenities included a laptop-sized safe, mini fridge, and there was a nice large flat screen TV on the wall. Free wifi in the room, and two computers in the lobby. The room was neat, furnishings were modern and in good shape. The room looked out onto a rooftop, not much of a view. The indoor pool was clean and a comfortable temperature and well stocked with towels. There are a number of restaurants and a couple shopping malls in the area, the Loblaws supermarket across the street is a nice option for meals if you don't feel like a restaurant. They have many prepared foods, hot, cold, sushi, salads and such.

“Great location for 401 and subway system”

Nice quality hotel. Clean rooms, pool and exercise room. Restaurant is fine, if a little limited and the buffet breakfast more than adequate. We've stayed here before when visiting Toronto as the subway line is in the basement of the attached mall which makes getting to downtown really easy ($6 a day unlimited travel on the TTC). Easy access to all the points and no downtown traffic or parking fees.
