“Not bad value for the price”
The front desk service was good. The room was very small but comfortable with a fridge and microwave which was helpful. The room and bathroom was fairly clean as were the linen. The availability of coffee and tea in the lobby at all hours was a plus. The continental breakfast consisted of pastries, bread, and cereal but some fruit would have been a welcome addition.

The rooms are small but everything else works well. I would return.
“Clean and Reasonably Priced”
This hotel was great for what we needed. We wanted something in close proximity to downtown Toronto that was reasonably priced. The room was quite small, but we were only there to sleep so this was not a problem for us. The bathroom was a good size and the room was clean and nicely furnished. The pillows were great! Would recommend this hotel.

The hotel was good. Only thing is it is an hour from downtown toronto. So if you frequently want to goto downtown, may be it is better to get a closer one

I like Monte Carlo Inns, their theme rooms are great! I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
“Comfortable Bargain, Great Staff, where's the Bar?”
I booked this hotel based on the write-up the Toronto Convention Bureau provided combined with the Expedia write up. There was supposed to be a restuarant and lounge, of which there were niether. I was pretty dissapointed as there are really niether one of those services near the hotel within walking distance. And cabs are expensive in Toronto. The friendliness of the staff and price paid for the room eventually won me over enough to give the place a decent review. That and the microwave and fridge in the room allowed me to create my own "lounge" for the week I was there. Look for a room without the yellow glass transom above the door, it's like daytime all night long with the hall lights shinning through the glass.....The water saving shower head sounds like a jet engine and if the water volume is turned up enough it will remove any loose skin!

I will not be staying here again. No coffee maker, price okay but did not feel comfortable. Sounded like water was running all night long..very distracting...awake most of the night
