“Great stay!”

This was my second time staying at this hotel and I will gladly return again in the future. Very comfortable and great service!

“Pleasant Surprise”

Our three night stay was extremely enjoyable. The location is convenient and within walking distance to most shopping areas. While the hotel lobby was somewhat dull, the room was quite impressive, large, very clean and contained all our needs while away from home. The breakfast buffet was also enjoyable. We would absolutely consider a follow up visit as we frequent this area quite often and would recommend this hotel to others.

“3-C's rating”

We were very happy with the hotel and gave it our "3-C's" rating of excellence in Courtesy, Cleanliness, and Convenience. The hotel staff was helpful in giving us directions, our room was bright and clean and roomy enough, and the convenience of being located near all public transportation and nearby restaurants, and shopping was invaluable.

“Metropolitan”

It was great. I went with my mum and the room was beautiful, we could see the CN tower from bed, the people from the hotel were very nice and everything OK. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel was located 2 blocks from Yonge St. Excellent location. Hotel was very clean. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I would hightly recommend this hotel.

“Loved the hotel and the restaurant Hemisphere”

The front desk people very friendly and helpful. The room fine, bed comfortable and the white duvet comfortable as well. The only thing I found frustrating was the loud air conditioning unit, but I guess nothing could be done about that, maybe because I do not own a air conditioner and live in a rural area the noise was new, and something I was not use to. I loved room service!!!!! I mostly ate on site, and was pleased with the service (in room or at the restaurant) The prices were higher then I was use to, but factoring in taking a cab and paying for that to and from the hotel, the extra cost for the food on site was fine. Of course if you wanted to go to McDonalds or Tim Hortons they were in walking distance. I walked to Art Gallery and to a cab to ROM, then walked along Bloor to shop, at Winners and The Bay. I got a great deal on the rooms from Expedia, main reason on the choice of Metropolitan Hotel.

“Good Location”

Hotel was in a good location. Male staff very friendly and helpful, female staff not that nice. Fire Alarm went off at 9am on Saturday and we had to evacuate building, fire department came. Then it kept going off. This was a little bit of an inconvenience, but it forced us to get up and do the sights.

“Good Hotel”

This is a good hotel downtown. Food was expensive in the hotel though.

“Great value”

I would recommend staying here. In addition to being centrally located, the service was excellent and rooms were great.

“In the heart of Toronto”

Excellent hotel right in the middle of everything. Very good food in restaurant. Loved the Frette sheets and wanted to take the bed home with me.
