The hotel's amenities are lacking in quality, from the tissues to the sheets and pillows—all seem to be of a lower standard. Additionally, the mattress is uncomfortable. Could you please ensure that the quality of the hotel's furnishings matches its rating?

Located in North York, provided easy access to large commercial district south on Yonge, and also access to Asian neighborhoods of Markham & Richmond Hill. Decent size room (had separate 1 bedroom suite) w/small kitchenette. Limited shopping mall adjoining hotel that did have a decent food court and a good-size grocery store (lots of Asian products). Parking lot under building was tight with lots of columns but plenty of spaces. Breakfast had plenty of choices BUT the menu NEVER CHANGED one iota over our 4 day stay. Dining space was adequate, though hotel staff always seemed surly & gruff. Elevator system had hiccups throughout our visit with wait times ranging from a few seconds to up to 5 minutes. Kitchenette would've been handy except absolutely nothing (cookware, utensils, etc.) was provided w/o added charge. Thankfully, Toronto has so much to eat that cooking never was needed.

Please read the reviews of others. We disliked our first night so much that we checked out and moved hotels. There was blood on our pillows, the fridge was so noisy that you couldn’t sleep and the bed sheets were as rough as sandpaper. When we asked politely to get them changed they explained it’s something that only gets done every 4 days and the reluctance to change them was my last straw.

The rooms were clean and beautiful, we did get a free upgrade. The view was amazing. Close to transportation. The breakfast was okay for the most part, potatoes were dry and the eggs seemed like they were watery. But the breakfast room was nice and clean. The mirrors were tarnished maybe, making them look dirty. But overall it was a nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay!

The Staffs are not fully trained to communicate with the guests politely and passionately. They are required to be trained how to deal with the issues coming up when the guest are being welcomed. I also noted that they do not know how to phrase and word their communications. I do not blame the staffs and front desk girls at all as they are doing their best. However, I strongly recommend the general Manager to take some course to improve their customer service. I will bring this up with Expedia for further details.

The location is great ! Underground parking is good for winter time, however, since it is shared with a shopping center , it is confusing at first. Rooms and hallways are so old and need a major renovation . mold in shower and bathroom. The breakfast area is small for the number of guests , and staff appeared to be inorganized! Overall , it feel like the building was used for other purposes and poorly converted to a hotel . I wont come back to this hotel next time.

Parking was a little confusing. Better signage to proper parking area would be an enormous benefit. But it is free and underground which is a real bonus when it’s a snow storm as it was today, March 22.
