“old but clean”

a little short on staff, and definitely in need of a reno, but great location, decent price and clean.

“Agree with other reviewers”

I agree with the other reviews. Basic, clean if somewhat dated and worn. Been in pricier spots in Toronto but it's a good value if all you need is a place to sleep while enjoying the city by day. We saved our money for shopping, shows and eating out. Cheapest that can be had in an otherwise posh neighbourhood (Yorkville) and close to both the Bloor and Yonge subway lines. Thin walls, but our stay was quiet and most rooms are off the street (though facing a brick wall). Courteous staff, offered to arrange taxi on departure. Didn't need to park or try the breakfast so can't pass comment on those.

“money for value”

Excellent price compared to the rest of the other hotels in the area, more than 50% off in the adjacent parking (but no in/out benefits), very attentive reception personnel. Rooms are ok, space is more than necessary, but hallways look like as the structure hasn't received maintenance since a while.

“Mediocre Hotel”

If you have a car, the ONLY downside to this hotel (for me atleast) was that there was no back entrance into the hotel from the parking lot, so you have to walk around the side of the hotel up to the front. There is also underground parking BUT there is no entrance either from the underground parking to the hotel. It was only a bother to my partner and I because the weather at the moment is quite cold, so we really didn't want to have to walk around the hotel just to get to the car. It would have been nice if their hotel basement lead straight to the garage but...no. I'm sure it's not that much of a bother if it were warmer weather. Other than that, this hotel was not too bad. There are lots of stores and eateries within walking distance. The room we had was not too bad at all and quite spacious. The decor of the room was alittle outdated but if you're not really into the decor etc., and just looking for a place to sleep, then I would recommend this place. Our room did not come with a microwave or mini refridgerator but I'm pretty sure if you requested it, they would give you a room with those options. The price was reasonable, I can't really complain. Like they say "you really do get what you pay for"

“Very welcoming and comfortable”

A very hospitable hotel which was welcome after a long trip. Only slight issue was the room was perhaps a bit cold.

“Location, Location, Location ...”

This hotel is right in the "thick" of great things happening in TO and is a great value for the price per night. The room was tidy and clean and most appreciatively did NOT have that "over done chemical" smell about it. The towels and bed linens as well were clean and did NOT smell of bleach (which can be quite problematic for some). It's not fancy, there's no "art" in the lobby, but the staff are helpful and friendly and the coffee at breakfast is hearty and strong. For the price, this is a good value and a great spot to station yourself to GO and "see the city".

“location,location,location”

i can't remember if this hotel is a 2 or 3 star hotel but it's in a 6 star neighborhood....if you're really not going to be around much because you are sightseeing......then this is the place for you. It's right in yorkville....there is a whole foods right downstairs, very convenient.
