“Gen in the 905”

I have stayed in numerous Holiday Inns around the globe and this one by far is the best. I certainly think this is one of the best hotels in the north Toronto area as well as in Ontario. All the front counter staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very new and well maintained. Rooms are modern and very clean. I'm a clean freak and had no problems for my kids to run around with no shoes or socks. The hotel offers everything from a mini mart for those little extra's you may need, a business room, work out area and a salt water pool. The free breakfast is a bonus. Great selections. Tons of restaurants near by and close to highway. I wish I can take this hotel everywhere I went!

“Too far from downtown”

Nice people, clean rooms, good breakfast, but visitors are not advise that the hotel is too far from downtown Toronto. They should have brochures and trip tourist packages available.

“5 nights wonderful, 1 night "HELL"”

I stayed 6 nights in the hotel, and there is a lot of good, a bit of bad. The good: the place seems to be fairly new, spotless, clean, and one of the most confortable beds I have ever sleep on. The staff went out of there way to help, for example if you asked how to get somewhere from the hotel, they would look it up, and print it out in a map to assit you in your travel. The morning food fair was great! Eggs, bread of all types, juices and coffee or tea of all kinds, either ham, or bacen, or sussage as a meat, and even pancakes from a device made fresh while you watch. Now the one bad....One night a number of kids, my guess 50, age 10 to around 16 years old were there for socker sports being played in the area. I found that teams often book this hotel for these events....mainly over a weekend. The kids went wild, running all over the place until after midnight, then even thou they made it to their rooms, I could hear horseplay and such till about 1:30 am. It made for one of the worse nights I have ever spent in a hotel. Again, only one night, and the other 5 nights were heven.

“Everything looks brand new!”

This hotel exceeded our expectation. Although it is already in its third year, everything is well-maintained. The only problem is the air-conditioner is quite noisy and temperature not too stable. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!

“Comfortable Stay”

From the efficient check-in, convenient location, clean upkeep, decent mattress, plentiful parking to the food options at breakfast, we were happy to have chosen Holiday Inn Express. The lady furnishing supplies for breakfast was outstanding in her diligence and attitude. making sure every station was well-suppied.

“Nice Clean Hotel, Convenient to 404 and 401”

Nice clean hotel. Rooms are good sized but not spacious. Breakfast is decent. Location is convenient for general GTA travel. Only downside: our TV was programmed to come on in the middle of the night and we couldn't fix it and it was hard to sleep because the mattress pad was an uncomfortable plastic which makes it very hot.

“Clean, friendly, comfortable, great breakfast”

We stayed here with our two kids while we went to Canada's Wonderland. Great lobby breakfast with eggs, bacon, instant pancake machine and everything. Coffee in the lobby all day, nice clean comfortable room and facilities. Easy to find and only 20 minutes drive from Canada's Wonderland. Fantastic asian food mall across the street too.

““Not satisfied””

Worst hotel ever! Do not go to this one even if they are giving a good deal. We cannot understand how or why Expedia recommends it. We booked this hotel for three nights. After first night, we switched another room and found some stuff was left in the pervious room. We went to the front desk in the next morning and asked the reception young guy to help me to take it a look. He said he will. Till noon, we checked with him again and he said he will call someone for this case (there is no sorry). Till night, we went to the front desk again and the young woman told me she knew nothing about this. She was so rude. We checked out in next morning without getting my own stuff. Later we called the hotel manager and she gave us some so awful answers and there was no sorry too: 1) This hotel does not provide full service to guests. 2) The guest should call housekeeper manager, should not call the front desk. 3) This hotel only has one staff at night in whole building and she/he is very busy. 4) The front desk staff is not the hotel employee and she/he is from a third party agency. She would contact the agency manager regarding the attitude of the young woman. We were wondering who knows the housekeeper manager. Yes, you can outsource everything what you want. But the hotel should be responsible for your service to your guests.

“Very pleased with Hotel”

The room was very clean. breakfast buffet was very satisfying. Some people in general (guests, were rude) but in line ,adults and children. No reflection on Hotel. Enjoyed the hotel in general.
