Close to the airport. I was booked to stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites but they sent yet another email telling me they were unable to give the room to me and I was going to stay at the Crowne Plaza. This has happened to me multiple times when I book at Fairfield and I am getting tired of it. Crowne Plaza and other places are fine but I prefer Fairfield. Soon I won't because I'm sick of being dumped out for no particular reason. I have usually booked far enough in advance of my travel dates that this should not be happening....but Fairfield keeps doing the same things.

I had originally booked at the Fairmont and received an email that my reservation was cancelled and they have booked us at the Crowne Plaza. Hotel looks nice but once in the room, it had 2 security guards on our floor. I have never had that before!! Once we got to the room, one of the numbers was missing for the room number in the hallway. Once in the room there was writing on the walls, walls were banged up. Hole in the bathroom above the shower. I wiped the headboard with a wipe, dirty! Tranition from flooring to tile was very poorly done and dirty. I booked a room with queen beds and we got double beds. I would not hve not choosen this hotel. ( and actually I didn't!)

I had fully paid for one nights stay months in advance at Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott Toronto Airport. The night before our stay I received an email advising that due to “unforeseen circumstances” they would not have a room available for me. I was further advised that their sister hotel, Crown Plaza would now be the hotel we were to stay at. I called to inquire and was told by front desk staff that the “unforeseen circumstances” were that some other customers had decided to stay longer. In my opinion an unforeseen circumstance would have been a fire or flood. I asked to speak to a manager and was put through to a voicemail. I left a voicemail but never received a response. Crown Plaza was not as convenient but was suitable in the end. Staff at Crown Plaza advised us that Fairfield Inn and Suites frequently does this. I later verified this by reading other reviews. My recommendation would be to book another hotel of your choice rather than taking any chance of any other “unforeseen circumstances” arising.

We were moved to the Hampton inn from our original booking at the Fairfield and the room is super small & cramped for 4people. No where to eat and lights in our room don’t work. At least we’re only here for 6hours

I booked at the Fairfield Inn and Suites because it has a restaurant where I could go in the Hotel. I was downgraded to the Hampton and was told I had to go to the other property. Even though it was only next door there was a fence and I couldn't see a way to get through. As a woman travelling alone I am not impressed with this practice. I feel I was overcharged as this place is not the same.

I cant really rate the hotel on amenities as they relocated us to their sister hotel next door which was disappointing and frustrating for a couple reasons. I booked this hotel because we were traveling in Toronto and had a very early morning flight. I specifically booked the Fairfield because it had a hot tub. The hotel they relocated us to did not so that was a major disappointment. Also I was traveling for pleasure so I wasn't monitoring my emails as often as I might at home so I didnt even know they relocated us until we went to check in. Overall, I'm sure it is a fine hotel but I didn't appreciate the situation we were put in and the lack of notice & options we were provided since they could not accommodate our reservation.

We were booked in to this hotel January 8/24 & Jan 28/24. We booked this hotel stay on March 4/23. At this time they confirmed our stay on both dates. However when Jan 8/24 came around we were sent an email the day before check in stating that there was no availability for us! Due to unforeseen circumstances. They had then booked us into the Hampton Inn and Suites. . So we didn’t put any negative reviews in on that date but then IT HAPPENED AGAIN FOR OUR JAN.28/24 stay. Well, this is just unacceptable. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone for anything, because there is no dependability from this company. “ Just too bad, so sad, we don’t have to honour our reservation “ Stay as far away from this hotel as you can.

When we got to the hotel we were transfered to another hotel. Apparently no rooms available even though we reserved last July. Didn't tell me that when i called earlier in the afternoon for late arrival due to delayed flight. Very disappointed with the whole affair.

We were moved next door to a sister property, the Hampton Inn because the Fairfield was fully booked. At checkin they wanted to charge us for the room even though it was booked and paid through Expedia. They put a hold on the price of the room and for incidentals and promised it would come off..we’ll be checking to ensure it does. Room was well used and tired looking… no microwave like Fairfield so we were forced to go out for dinner. Not a great experience. Only coffee, no tea in the room so had to go downstairs to get a tea in the morning.

Very close proximity to Pearson airport. Courteous and friendly reception. Clean and spacious room with a comfortable bed. I had issues connecting to the wifi but it was solved after talking to the front desk.

For the second time this month I was transferred to the Hampton Inn and Suites, the day before checking in. I had an early morning flight and the reception desk clerk mentioned that on check-out I could claim a breakfast bag, but it was not available.

Fairfield Inn was unable to accommodate us, so transferred us to the Hampton Inn and Suites, which was fine. We arrived after 11pm and left by 4.30am. It was perfectly fine for our needs.

I booked a room at Fairfield about 9 months ago, the day before arriving Im told they don't have a room for me and sent me to their sister hotel next door. Hotel was clean, free shuttle to/from airport. Our departure was early in the morning, I was assured that there would be a "to go" breakfast to take with us as it was before 6am. I confirmed this with both hotels before arrival. When checking out they did not have anything for us which was very disappointing as I was traveling with children and was told twice that this would be available.

Very poor review because before our arrival we were emailed by Fairfield saying our reservation was changed to an entirely different hotel. There was no contact by the new hotel with precise airport transportation details and call numbers. With more than 1 Hampton Inn nearby, it meant errors in pickup. Hampton drivers were excellent, but management of hotel change was very poorly handled.

I’ve booked Fairfield Inn and Suites and received confirmation. but 2 days prior to my arrival, I received an email from Fairfield telling me they changed my reservation to another hotel due to a group of people extended their stay at Fairfield at last minute, so my reservation has been cancelled without asking for my permission. I really feel uncomfortable with this change! Fairfield is not respecting their guests. I won’t stay here again!
