“Great for a "Stay-cation"”
We were looking for a quick get-away with the kids (9 and 6) and did not want to travel far. This hotel is perched on the top of Toronto and allows access to many of the local attractions. The kids really enjoyed the pool and the water slide. There are various depths and temperatures available (big pool comfortable temperature, children's play area a little warmer, and the jacuzzi - toasty warm). The whole family enjoyed the clean hotel with friendly staff.
“wish I had known about construction both in and outside”
Did not appreciate having breakfast next to construction, staff were great however
“Nice Hotel in Scarborough”
The hotel location is very convinient if you want to stay in North East side of Toronto. It is next to the highway 401 and Kennedy. The hotel was quite nice and clean. The service was great. The pool is quite nice for kids. We would stay again.
“Extremely Great Customer Service. Thanks Todd!!!”
Kinda distant from downtown, but they make up for it in customer service! Breakfast was pricey.
“We would definitely go back.”
We do not recommend dining at this hotel as it is way too expensive.
“Good Alternative”
Wish they had a small store on site and had wireless in the room. Good bar area for dinner and exercise room w/pool. Big negative for me is location - some 10 miles from office, which with Toronto traffic is a big problem
“Friendly service, nothing fancy but very comfortable for the price, will come back!”
We are impressed with the friendly staff at the front desk. They are very patient when we asked for directions and reccomendations around the city. We stay at a "premier" room, which was comfortable and clean. The cleaning lady does show up rather early in the morning so remember to put on a "do not disturb" sign if you are not a morning person. The sport bar on the first floor has friendly service, good food for decent price and a good selection of beer. There is a mall nearby with grocery stores, about 10 minutes' walk or a short drive from the hotel, which is great news for those who forgot to bring their socks or toiletories. Two minor complaints: 1/ The "upscale" Japanese restaurant on the top floor is upscale in price and decor only. We tried it the first night and found the service very slow and the food mediocre -- if you like Asian food, you'll have much better choices for much lower prices in downtown Toronto. The view from the window is spectacular though, and the staff were friendly. 2/ wi-fi connection is unreliable inside the hotel room, if you have a mobile device you need to go down to the lobby for internet connection. Plug-in high speed internet connection is available in the room for wired devices, we didn't use it so we can't comment on that. Overall we are very happy with our stay and will come back to this hotel.

“A bit of a hike from the city, but a lovely hotel”
You will need a car to stay at this hotel, it is NOT public transit accessible (unless you don't mind taking a train and a bus). Other than that we really liked it. Rented a car right in the hotel and took it to kennedy station and rode the green line into town. We had the breakfast buffet voucher and they gave us 3! Having a delicious breakfast for three mornings, for the two of use saved a lot of money. Also the omelets to order were great, as well as the service. We did enjoy the pool and the hot tub a bit before they got too crowded...and they did let me go down the waterslide which was surprisingly fun. It seemed like it would be a great hotel to bring a family, we had fun though as a young couple. The "whitesides terrace" was under construction but it looked like it was going to be nice, overlooking the pool. We ate dinner at TJs and it was cozy and the food and beer were great. The staff were extremely helpful, and they let us stay until 2pm free of charge.
