“So so”

Bathtub was dirty, bathroom door knob was broken on inside so couldn't close door. 2 phones in room, one didnt work. Good size room, very small pool. With upgrade and maintenance, 3 stars at best.

“Very Good”

The room is very clean. and the location is OK, because we only visited Richmon Hill and Markham.

“Beware the Smoking rooms”

Arrived late to be told they were full and our request for non-smoking could not be met. Reluctantly we agreed to a smoking room on the 3rd floor.The smell was evident on exiting the elevator.The room smelled of old smoke.It had not been renovated since it's inception. A large stain was evident on the easy chair in a position suggestive of body fluids. There were not enough light bulbs to allow the bedside lamp to provide light.The bathroom wall above the counter was decorated with flecks of the detritus of previous guests.The light switch plate had not been cleaned in a looong while. In the early morning our request for a move was met and at 8am another room was available on the "Privilege" floor.That room and houskeeping was top notch.Was it not available the night before?Are Expedia customers treated as second class because of low room rates?

We make every effort to ensure our Guests' requests are met, however there are times that circumstances are beyond our control. I have shared your experience with our Rooms Division Manager to investigate the items you have mentioned. I am delighted that we were able to accommodate you with a non-smoking room the next day. I can only assume that due to our inability to initially accommodate your requests our staff provided you an upgraded room to our Deluxe floor. I can assure you that all of our Guests are treated with the same service, regardless of where they may have originally made their reservation. I hope we have an opportunity to welcome you back in the future and don't hesitate to contact us directly if you have any special requirements.

“Comfortable and Convenient”

This hotel fit our needs perfectly. We had easy access to downtown Toronto via a main highway. There were restaurants available closeby. Although we didn't make full use of the hotel services, we were impressed by the cleanliness of our room and the overall appearance of the hotel. The staff who greeted us were friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

Area recommendations
It's hard to pick one area of Toronto to recommend. Toronto theatre, shopping and museums are all worthwhile. The shows playing in the theatre district, the downtown Eaton Centre, Bloor St and Yorkville shopping areas all offer a good experience.

“Not that impressed!”

After staying at a 5 star hotel in Niagara on the Lake the night before, the Delta Markham was not what we expected.

“if the cost is right i will be back”

so far everything ok but only the air condition not working right and the refegrator not cold enough
