“not bad”
not bad all in all, a bit far from downtown, but really affordable, clean and decent
“Sleeping on floor may be more comfortable”
Overall comments of this hotel is staff is very good, location is great, but owners of this inn are making there money on location feature only. The room was ok and the bed was beyond terrible. I had to use the bedspread as a matres topper to just get through the night.
“Rinaldo Angelicola”
Since I wanted to stay at the Beachs neighborhood, the hotel´s location was perfect. Don´t look for luxury at this hotel. The parking is very convenient and the breakfast is fair. They offer a pretty good complimentary wireless internet connection, which is great. If you want to stay at the neighborhood and are driving, this is a great option. If you will spend your day in downtown, it will be better for you to look for hotels there. Parking in Toronto is very expensive, so take this in consideration when picking up your hotel.
“Quite Comfortable”
We travelled to Toronto for a wedding on June 18 2011 and we stayed at the Days Inn - Toronto East Beaches on the recommendation of the wedding party. The hotel was very close to both the wedding and reception (which took place near the beach) and it provided free parking which we greatly appreciated. We were able to walk to the wedding reception from the hotel. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud so we had to shut it off during the night. When we checked into the hotel on Saturday June 18, the front desk attendant was quite helpful and friendly. However, the front desk attendant who worked Saturday night/Sunday morning was not friendly or welcoming. Overall, we were generally satisfied with the quality of our room and the continental breakfast included with the price.
“Very pleasant hotel”
This hotel was extremely clean and well staffed with eager to please personnel. The front desk provided Canadian dollars for US dollars at the going rate of $1.05 (US) for $1.00 (Cdn) AND AT NO COMMISSION! Such a generous deal and it saved me time and agravation in having to visit a Canadian bank or to use a credit/debit card. The prevailing "foreign currency transaction" is billed at (minimally) 3% of the amount converted. I shall certainly return to this location.
“Miss the Morning Traffic”
I frequently stay at this hotel when I have my medical check-ups in downtown Toronto. It is convenient for morning appointments when you need to avoid the morning commuters. Hotel staff is always extremely polite and helpful and the basic morning breakfast provided is great for getting us on our way for the day in the City.
“good value”
the room was clean; the bed was comfortable, the shower worked, there was hot water and onsite free parking; it was close to where i needed to be and it was cheap by toronto standards. what's not to like? not luxurious, but nothing disgusting or off putting. fine for a night or two when price is an issue. overall, good value, just don't expect a 5 star experience.
“Convenient and Reasonable in Toronto”
Had a last minute booking in the Studio District so needed an economical hotel in the area. This hotel was very clean and a great value! It is a short walk to the studios and there are a few restaurants within walking distance. This is not a luxury hotel but was perfect for my quick stay in Toronto. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel if you are on a budget and need to be in this area.
“Great value near downtown Toronto”
The hotel was exactly what I expected. Breakfast included, free parking, a short streetcar ride to downtown. I went for the Toronto International Film Festival, and checked on rates for downtown hotels and they were all at least double the price of this one. Staying in the airport area was out of the question even though it was cheaper. I wanted to enjoy my vacation, not spend most of my time commuting to downtown. The staff was great and helpful with directions. The beds were very comfortable and the tv had a decent selection of channels. I couldn't have asked for better. Walking distance to a multitude of shops and restaurants, and the lakefront boardwalk. Definitely would recommend.
“location, location, location”
We choose this hotel primarily for its location and the fact it had free parking. the location was perfect for us----a 15 minute ride on the streetcar to downtown and convenient bus service to other parts north, a walk to the beach, close to or easy access to many wonderful bike trails in the city. The hotel accommodated us with a first floor room so taking our bikes in and out of our room was easy. there was a convenient side hallway so we did not have to go through the lobby. The hotel staff was always courteous and helpful, room service was good, and the provided breakfast was ample enough and always ready on time and in sufficient quantities. the rooms are very plain but in Toronto it is far more wonderful to be out of a hotel room and doing things and the price differential from downtown hotels was substantial.
