Very unpleasant experience. Rude employees.

Cons: Get rid of unmotivated employees who have no desire to work in the hospitality industry. They need to be friendly and courteous at all times.
Hi arrived at around 2am. It was a very cold morning and the airport shuttle took almost 20 minutes to arrive when I was told it would only take 5 minutes. When finally arriving to the hotel, the driver would not even want to come down to open the door for me, instead he tried to give me instructions on how to open the broken bus shuttle door. I did not understand what he was trying to tell me, I was tired from traveling all day! Well, he visibly got upset and had no choice but to open the door. He was rude and disrespectful. He pretty much treated me like a dumb person who could not even open a door! I could not believe that an employee could act this way considering that he works in the hospitality industry. At any rate, I decided to let it go and checked in to hotel. My first impression when entering the lobby area was: this is a pretty run down hotel! The clerk was polite but nothing out of the ordinary. I understand it was late but even then employees are supposed to be super nice and courteous, not the case here. I went to my room and what a disappointment. There was a shoe box left on the carpet by the heater. The room was small and looked really old. After taking a shower I was going to dry my hair but couldn't do that due to the fact that the dryer itself had not been properly wiped and had some nasty stains on it, which I didn't want to touch. I felt totally disgusted. The next day the front desk clerk did not even say thanks or good bye upon check out. Rude!

Pros: Friendly staff. Clean room
Cons: The restaurant was a bit dated
Location: It's right by Woodbine race track and woodbine mall
We needed a room close to Woodbine because we had a horse in the very last race. When we booked this hotel, the cost was very low so we didn't expect much, but it was close to Woodbine, so we figured we'd give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised. We were welcomed at the front desk. The room was very nice. We would definitely stay there again. In fact, if our horse races again this Saturday, we know where we're staying.

I did not expect Comfort Hotel to have such low standards. The walls of the room were so thin that i could hear the guests in the next room. When someone turns on the shower, it rattles right through the walls too as if someone was showering right in my bathroom. My toilet pipe was also dripping and making a whistling sound. Despite closing the door, and putting a towel below, I could still hear it. The air conditoner was loud but it worked to warm up the room. I turned it off immediately after it took the chill off the air. The bed was another thing - the bed sheets had stains, i am not sure if they were changed at all. The blanket and sheets were so thin and worn too. And it didnt take long before i started to feel the itch. It was definitely not a comfortable bed and I did not feel that the bed and mattress was clean and hygenic at all. Hence I did not have a good sleep. Will definitely not recommend this hotel.

Treated daughter like a troubled teen!

Pros: I didn't stay,my daughter did, but she felt accused before they even got their room and they were centered out and made to feel like idiots re: deposi
Cons: Update your confirmation email stating that only a $50 deposit is required at checkin-NOT $250 dollars! Who carries that much around? No one!
Location: Booked room for daughter--had tour of Humber College next day-thought it would be nice for her to sleep in then get up and head to the school -NOT
Booked room for Daughter (17 years old) to stay in for 1 night with her girlfriend (who is 16 years old). They had a Humber college tour on Sat. Email stated my daughter would need a $50 deposit--they wanted $250 bucks at the desk when they went to check in!!! We, the adults were told nothing about $250, andhad no idea!!. Then the man at the front desk asked my daughter if they would be drinking or causing any problems! I am mortified!! Here we thought we were doing something nice for our daughter and in the end, she was embarrassed (scrounged up the $$ for deposit), centered out because of her age and made to feel like they really didn't belong there! I will never book or reserve with your hotel again. It was unfair and uncalled for. I called the hotel the next day to complain....nothing was ever done. He said that was too bad, but the policy has changed and it is now $250 deposit--my husband and I gave them our credit card number when we booked the room. It would have been nice if we had been informed at that time regarding the deposit--that was very upsetting for our daughter and for us because we sent her away unprepared!!! Oh I am still so mad!!!

Good hotel to stay

Pros: The view and easy reach to airport.
Cons: Breakfast would be less expensive and better.
Location: Not much to do, just near airport.
It worth the price, front desk service is OK, room facilities are OK. Room is clean, you will get a good view if you stay on high level 8 or 9.

Location: Woodbine Mall, Woodbine Race-track, Humber College
Good value for the money, close to shopping, restaurants, race-track.............. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Overall, enjoyed my stay. Used EXPEDIA to book, would NOT use them again. Trying to get a receipt for my stay was almost painful!

Close to airport

Cons: Location is far from downtown, but it has many bus stops nearby.
Nice staff, fridge and air conditioner in room, and cable tv. The building is taller than the surrounding ones so it has a nice view. Close to restaurants, supermarket and a mall.
