“Charming and classy in a great location”

The hotel was rated well on the Trip advisor. Had a great stay. The hotel itself was very unique and classy in its way. The room was very simple but had character. All the modern amenities were in the room with free wireless internet. Parking was $13 which was the lowest in our shopping list. The staffs were friendly and respectful. Good breakfast with brand name items. The outside fire escapes and an antique elevator were some that made this hotel so different to others. We were glad that we shared a part of the history in this hotel.

“Very good value for money”

This hotel is steps from the Sherbourne subway station, and the parking rate is a real bargain at only $13 compared to $20 and up for most hotels. The staff were very helpful and friendly and when we arrived too early to check-in, they gave us a discount card for the restaurant around the corner which was very nice.

“quaint older hotel near downtown”

my wife always likes hotels with some character and not the cookie cutter franchise type. this clarion hotel was right up her alley. we overlooked some of the outdated features and enjoyed the uniqueness of the facility. each room in the building appeared to have a quaint name on the door. the elevator was a historic model with a sliding gate to secure the passengers. all the halls had historic carpeting and woodwork. the continental breakfast was simple but abundant. most guests seemed to take full advantage of the food. overall my wife would love to stay there again and the price was reasonable. ed.

“Home away Home”

The stay was Excellent. The building had so much detail it was breath taking sight. The place was very clean and refreshing. Rooms were cozy and clean. Good location. Free Breakfast was fantastic with hot items like eggs and waffles. More than one can expect. We will always remember this place.

I doubt that for this price you will find a better place in downtown Toronto. The fact that it is located in a historic mansion makes it even nicer. The downside: parking charge.
