“Perfect alternative to staying in a hotel”

I picked this B&B as I was on a budget and in Toronto for business. I was delighted with my choice. The B&B was situated perfectly for exploring Downtown Toronto. The B&B is a really interesting place full of old books and works of art. Breakfast takes place around a large table so if you travelled alone like I did, you get to meet other guests. The breakfasts are excellent three course affairs which set you up perfectly for the day. The landlady was very helpful and friendly. My room was large with a big TV, desk and DVd player. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was situated on the landing. It contained a good shower over a bath. I had an excellent stay and would recommend this hotel. For me my stay could have been improved slightly with drink making facilities in the room. This is standard in English B&Bs. Also I took my Laptop and iphone. I could only intermittently access the free WiFi.

This was in a perfect location for getting around Toronto. Nadia was a very gracious host. She was very helpful in pointing out interesting places to go and see. Breakfast were very accommodating. She made sure all her guests had what they wanted. Nadia was always a pleasure to talk with.

First of all the host is very helpful and she guided us all the prime location. breakfast is healthy and very nice. This is the best place to stay if you are looking for place in downtown. It is a beautiful house, but I had few issues which were minor and hope she will fix soon. firstly, very poor wi-fi ( I can say no wifi) second the matrices are not comfortable and towels are very old(but clean).

“A nice quiet place to rest your feet”

We were there for a weekend and enjoyed our stay very much. You are well taken care of by the very friendly Hostess. Easy 5 minutes walk from Downtown (corner of Yonge and Dundas). Easy parking available. Easy access from Hyw 401. We will stay there on our next visit.

“Excellent for breakfast & useful advice”

Large old terraced house, stairs to 1st. floor comfortable bedroom. No drink making or food allowed in room. Friendly owner (Nadia) lives in, & provides an excellent & ample breakfast & lots of advice on getting around Toronto. Furnishings etc a little old fashioned & a bit quirky, but interesting. Short walk to a shopping centre & bus route; about 30 – 40 min walk to waterfront Free parking on street with permit, (ask before coming)
