We had planned to stay at this hotel for 6 nights because it was decently priced and the rooms/location looked good. However, we cut our stay short to 3 nights upon arrival, as the hotel is in poor condition and the rooms were not up to standard. We even tried to cut our stay to one night, but almost all of the staff speak next to no English and we were told we had to wait for the manager who would return on Monday. The manager helped us process our request but it still took several attempts to refund us and we were still charged a cancellation fee.
The rooms were not up to standard and I would not recommend them to anyone. The floors/carpets in the rooms/hallways were dirty and old. The same can be said of many other parts of the rooms, like the desks/lamps, which are scratched and dirty as well. The hotel is in clear need of updating with new furniture and floors. The rooms also offer no plug sockets next to the beds, which is quite inconvenient.
Furthermore, the roof of the hotel is open air, which is quite bizarre. This means that the hallways on all floors are very cold, and when it rained, the carpets in the hallways became wet (probably why they also seem old and in poor condition). The check-in process also took a long time, with an inefficient system in place. We did not have the breakfast, and when we checked to see what was on offer - we could see that we made the right choice.
The only plus side is the area; close to the metro and in a quiet office area.
