"This was an excellent place to stay for us as we were hiking Eagle Mountain and Cascade River state park. Both were easy to get to from this hotel. I loved the knotty pine in the room and the view of Lake Superior was fabulous. We had a small balcony to sit on and relax. The room itself is small, but all we needed. The beds were super comfy and the room spotless. Our check in was effortless and the two young ladies at the front desk were great and had fun personalities. We will definitely stay there again when hiking on the North Shore.

"We had a great stay and all staff were helpful and friendly. We did notice that the TV system is not user friendly. A staff person had to come over two nights in a row to stop the TV from freezing and not responding to the remote. Otherwise all was good!
