“very nice view”
Service was very good, friendly. We have wonderfull time. Nice view.
“Great Vacation!”
We went to Tofino and stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, it was a great deal when booked on this site. It is a great location and you can walk a short distance to pretty much all businesses in tofino. The staff was awesome. Wireless internet was only $5 per day. They always cleaned our room early in the day so when we came back it was nice and tidy. It came with a microwave and minifridge which was nice for saving money on eating out.
“Restaurant”
The room was very comfortable and clean. The restaurant and pub were very good. Food was great and huge portions.
“Centrally Located”
This hotel is centrally located in Tofino, walking distance to all tour outfitters, etc. For those not intending on a beach vacation (the Pacific Highway into Tofino has multitudes of these types of resorts) and are planning excursions ie. Hot Springs Cove, kayaking, etc, this hotel is perfect. It also has a popular and affordable restaurant/bar on location overlooking the harbour as well as a competitively priced tour office. The rooms were spacious and recently renovated. It looks like a single level hotel from the street, but it is 3 levels and every room has a view of the harbour. This hotel, in my opinion, is the best in the town of Tofino.
“Nice but can get noisy at night”
We stayed there for 1 night. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the buuilding was away from the road. But this hotel also accomodates a pub and a restorant with loud patrons who park their cars/trucks beneath the hotel windows and enjoy nothing more than idling their vehicles for hours, talking loud and listening to music (also loud). So beware!
“Probably a two star”
A nice, basic room but not much of a view after all, except at the restaurant, which served an excellent buffet the night we were there - right on the waterfront. Hotel is conveniently located and was a good price.
“Good Location”
It was close to be able to book tours and also close to the pub and restaurant. Price was good compared to others I looked at. However, the walls aren't all that soundproof. I could hear the guy next door snoring when I got to my room the first night and then they woke me up the last morning I was there and they really weren't that loud. Hopefully you'll luck out and get people who are on your schedule next door.
“Good package with Whale Watching tour!”
Nice location, can walk around downtown Tofino. Love the package that I was offered with the stay, we joined the Whale Watching tour; it was awesome! We saw more than a dozen of grey whales. I also like that it is quiet and have restaurant in the hotel. Good rate & comfy!
“on edge of town but town is small!”
i had a great view of the Sound and liked the position of the hotel. housekeeping was lax. ie didnt hoover or clean surfaces of bathroon and general tables. They were helpful though when this was pointed out
“Great Deal!”
The overall experience here was a good one. Pretty standard hotel with a good location and very affordable. A great place for young people to stay.There is there is a pub/restaurant attached to the hotel which was very convenient. The only complaint that I had was that the hot water ran out in the morning and we all had to take cold showers.
