“Wonderful Getaway”

The room was excellent - clean and comfortable, well stocked. The surroundings are probably the best in the world. The staff was polite and helpful, the restaurant was comfortable and had a nice varied selection. They were willing to tweak their means to accommodate personal tastes. The property was clean and beautifully manicured,the beach was pristine. In conclusion, there is only one small thing that could be improved upon - the temperature of the hottub was a bit high for me. I could only tolerate it for about 5 minutes.

“Tin Wis exceeded my expectations”

The Tin Wis hotel is located on the MacKenzie beach. Great location and fun to walk on the beach during low tide. Restaurant was very nice and he food was very good. Nice to sit out on the patios and watch the bay.

Beautiful location on the beach. Desk manager very helpful. Went out of his way.

“Very nice rooms, friendly staff and beautiful views”

Stayed Aug 10, 2011 and the room seemed recently renovated. Nice decor in very clean room with 42" LCD tv and very nice bathroom. View from private balcony (all of them are) was spectacular. The restaurant was delicious for both breakfast and dinner with reasonable prices. This is handy as not many, if any, restaurants in Tofino were open at 9:30am on a Thursday morning.

The location, room, staff were all superb. I cannot wait to go back. It was magical.

“Great private beach”

We really liked the location of the hotel. Just 5 min from tofino but far enough away that it felt more like a remote resort. The rooms were modern, I would say ours was less than a year old. Everything worked well, and if you like pillows you get lots. The inhouse restaurant was very good, the prices were average (under $20 for dinner) , and a great view of the sunset and beach while you eat. And the beach, what can you say, you walk right out of your room into a nice grass yard then 50M further and your on the beach. Its a nice cove so it wasn't very windy as well.

“Great value, great experience”

My wife loves the sound of waves and we've stayed here a few times and I've noticed from every water view balcony, you can hear the wonderful sound of just those waves. A clean view to a sandy beach I could literally throw a baseball to. Stay here, the menu has better food and the staff are so friendly. FYI while we regularly stay at fairmonts, this still didn't disappoint for a great Tofino vacation.

Great place to stay for week as there is lots to do locally. a bit far out of town, so kinda trapped food wise. The staff were very helpful

We have an ocean view room right in front of the beach. The service folks are very friendly and helpful.
