We were warmly greeted by the reception team and our bags were carried to our rooms. We booked 2 doubles, one for our daughters and one for us (couple). We were given the suite which had a jacuzzi on the verandah and sea views. Our suite was wonderful, spacious, clean and well equipped with free robes and slippers and MMW toiletries. Tinos is very windy, as is Mykonos, the neighbouring island (15 mins by ferry) so the wind was whooshing but this did not detract from our enjoyment.
We walked down to Agios Ioannis Beach, about 350 metres away down the slope and found a lovely sandy beach with fabulous sea and crystal clear water. We sat at the front on two sunbeds with umbrella for 15 euros total, which was reasonable and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon on the beach. Yummy potato wedges! Walking back up the slope wasn't as bad as expected. We had dinner in the hotel, which was okay, although some Greek music playing would have been much better! It was very quiet in there.
Breakfast was fabulous, a great buffet with lots of choices, hot and cold, including eggs, Greek ham, cheeses, fresh fruit including watermelon, nectarines etc. Couldn't fault it.
We were really happy to have stayed here. The location is a little remote but we didn't stay for long so it was fine for us. The local beach is fabulous so for a quiet beach holiday would recommend. We visited the famous monastery of St Mary of Tinos and took a taxi here from there which was just ten euros.
