“Great hotel really good location.”

What a hotel. Small but very comfortable. Only downside for some might be no restaurant for an evening meal, but breakfast in the breakfast room was excellent with a full 3 hour 'window' . I must admit that the hotel was so good it may have been recently refurbished... but please do not take that as a negative. All furnishings and fittings are real quality. Internally it is a 'jazz themed' hotel my wife of 32 years and i staying in the 'Billie Holiday' room with a balcony overlooking the lake. No bath in our room but that not a problem to us and the shower was substantial, not a 'cubicle'. Family run; excellent staff. good reception etc but beware late arrivals - closes at 9pm. Need to telephone ahead if you are going to be later. Secure numeric lock for entry after hours. Will go back.

“Business Traveller in Locarno”

Excellent service, hospitable, good breakfast, clean room and wireless internet. Located at border of the lake, in the center, train station, cable car and numerous restaurants within 3~5 min walking distance. Beautiful view on the lake and surrounding mountains. Definitely a place to return.
