“Highly recommended”
Very well located, good restaurant, friendly staff, clean rooms.
“Great hotel at the center of Locarno”
Nice hotel at Piazza Grande, place from where you can start your sightseeing through Locarno.
“quiet in the middle of the city”
The only negative part of my visit to Locarno was finding a place ot park. There was a funtion in the plaza in front of the hotel, which made it tricky for outsiders to find the place.
“Beautiful hotel in a great location”
This hotel is an older building, probably was once some sort of villa or home and retains that charm. The rooms and bathrooms have been remodeled and are well-apportioned, clean and functional but the building itself is just beautiful. The room (a triple) was huge with a separate sleeping area for the single, it felt like a mini-suite! We had gorgeous views of the town, free breakfast in a very nice breakfast room and were located right in the Grand Piazza. It's about 12 minutes to the train station (but so is everything else) and is very very convenient for visiting Locarno's sights. Also, a fantastic value.

Would definitely go back to stay. The breakfast was good. Cosy & neat rooms. Service was outstanding.
“A great place to stay”
Hotel Dell Angelo in Locarno Switzerland was a nice hotel with very well maintained amenities. It had a pretty unusual style though with large ceramic vases and strange oil paintings on the walls contrasting with modern features elsewhere in the hotel. Generally though I enjoyed my stay, the complimentary breakfast in particular was much better than I expected.
“Best Dinner Value in Town”
Located just off the main square, the location was great. A 5 minute walk to the train station. The room was a little small, yet functional. Looked out onto a quiet side street. The brakfast was great and came with the room. Best Dinner special menu on town.
“Good, but one draw back.”
This is a very nice place to stay. Good location. The only draw back, is that it does not have Air Conditioning. The room was very hot, and it was hard to get a good nights sleep.
“Worth Looking at.”
This hotel is typical for it's price range....small clean room with private bath and reasonably comfortable bed. I would not want to be there in the summer however, as it isn't air conditioned. Your only relief would be to open a window and the Disco/Bar below would ruin your rest. Good food resonably priced. The staff should smile more.
