“Pleasantly Surprised!”
The hotel exceeded our expectations. It is very clean, very comfortable and the staff was extremely helpful. Great Pool. The location was excellent. There were many many restaurants and stores within walking distance. We'll definitely be back next year.

Other than our room temperature being uncomfortably warm and having a hard time adjusting the heat it was a very nice stay. we have free hotel shuttle pick up at the airport and after talking to our shuttle driver decided to rent a car for the weekend as we found out taxi rides around Thunder Bay can be very expensive. the hotel even provided a free shuttle back to the airport to pick up the rental car. The restaurant on site "Chicago Joe's" had great service and food. The pool was pretty full of little kids birthday parties but was clean and well maintained. The room was quiet and clean was within walking distance to all kinds of restaurants and amenities. I would definitely stay at the Victoria Inn when in Thunder Bay again.
“Victoria Inn - serviceable and affordable”
Room was older and had a fain cigarette odour but clean + no bedbugs. Pool area was well kept and nothing smelled moldy, in fair condition. Laundry facilities available. Airport shuttle a huge bonus. Complimentary internet useful, complimentary greasy spoon breakfast was nothing to write home about. Front desk staff very helpful.

The hotel was clean and suited our needs. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

Hotel was in good location (close to airport), staff were very helpful and friendly, especially the restaurant. Included breakfast was very good. Hotel is a little old, but room was renovated, modern, clean and well appointed.
“Great place for kids”
I really like the VicInn when we are traveling with our daughter. If you are staying there on a weekend in the winter, be prepared - it is a favorite hotel for hockey teams. Most of the time the halls are quiet by eleven so we don't mind. The pool area is crazy busy then too, but that's okay for the kiddies. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to stay with that someone special - make sure you do it during the week. We have stayed here in the fall, mid-week and it was a real quiet, pleasurable experience. My daughter enjoyed the one on one with us in the pool, and not having to wait too long for the water slide. All in all, it's a good hotel. I can't comment on the restaurant as I have only eaten there twice. Well, we ate there once, then walked out the second time we were there. We were there for breakfast and it was fairly busy (not overly though) and we honestly waited for twenty minutes before we even got our coffee and milk for our daughter. It took another fifteen minutes for our server to come back for our breakfast order. Needless to say, we never gave one and left. Every place has their off days though and I have heard other good reviews of this restaurant so, who knows? Beds were comfy, price was good (thanks to expedia,) rooms were super clean, and it has a water slide. Works for us!
“Decent hotel but noisy room”
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The main feature is the water slide and pool which was nice but our room overlooked it, which meant a lot of noise until 11 when the pool closed.
“drain hose keep the entrance door open”
The door to the street was opened due to the use of a vacuum truck to drain the pool water to an outside street. Why not drian it via another path, such as the back door by a longer hose. The door is just next to the elevator and it was a cold day in Feb.

The pool was green, otherwise, clean, comfortable and great staff

Great place to stay. Walls around my room were a bit thin, but that seams to be standard any where I go.
