“The hotel was worth the price we paid”

The value we got was worth what we paid. Breatfast was satisfying and cleaniness was there. Kindness of staff and very helpful when inquiries were made. A little far from london central but we knew that going in. I would stay there again most likely. Would reccommend on cost alone everything else was a bonus. Affordable in an exprensive city

“Nikel”

Très sympa, notre chambre avait etait entierement refaite, propreté et service etaient au rdv ! Le seul bémol serait peut etre le fait que nous étions en bord de route et il y avait pas mal d'ambulances et de camions (pour les travaux de l'hotel) qui passaient. Mais dans l'ensemble nous etions satisfait :)

“pour visiter londres”

Bon petit hotel proche d'une gare pour londres (30 minutes) parking clent un plus pour laisser la voiture quand on visiste londres. Lit très petit pour deux personnes, pas de drap pour la couette !!! Ouvert 24h

“Basic hotel”

The hotel is away from London (about 20-30 minutes by train) but the bus is right in front of the hotel so it is convenient to get anywhere. It's a basic, no frills hotel...clean, continental breakfast which consists of juice, coffee/tea, cereal and toast. There is a restaurant and bar onsite. The staff are friendly and helpful. If you're not looking for fancy then this will do.

“Not again.”

Only positive aspect is lower cost. Not a convenient location. Hallway to the room had many steps up and down and many doors and turns so it was very difficult to take the luggage to the room. No AC in the room. Only towels and bath mat provided. No hand towels. Beds were very squicky and springs almost touching your body. Did not wake us up as per requested wake up call. Hotel located in seemingly bad area. Very basic breakfast. Basic TV without cable. I would not recommend to anyone.

“tres jolie photos sur le site...”

Les photos sur le site ne correspondent pas du tout a la réalité ! du moisi sur les murs, fuites d'eau un peu partout, impossible de fermer les robinets !!! je déconseille FORTEMENT !

“Hôtel Norfolk à Croydon, relativement loin des lieux touristiques et peu adapté aux handicapés”

J'ai été déçu par cet hôtel, en général, de la réception peu accueillante, à l'état général de la chambre, la propreté ( aspirateur passé uniquement devant le lit ) en passant par le petit déjeuner "continental", qui se composait de beurre, de cinq sortes de confiture ( merci les diabétiques ! ), arrosés de café, de thé et de lait. Il faut naturellement aimer les céréales ou autres "crunch" ; pain de mie. Jus de pomme et jus d'orange. A ce tarif, j'aurais préféré un petit déjeuner british. En outre, sa situation géographique, en plein sur la route principale, avec l'hôpital Mayday en face et la mosquée juste à côté, ne permettait pas un repos vraiment réparateur.

“Hotel Norfolk”

The walls were so thin that we heard the group of young men in the neighboring room all night. When we called the front desk to complain, security was unable to respond because of a fight at the bar. I felt very unsafe at this hotel. We did not stay our second night.

“Not impressed”

Hotel was very scruffy outside at the rear where the carpark was, with dumped furniture and matresses. Inside, it was very shabby, door numbers missing, etc. Our room probably hadn't been decorated, possibly since the 1980s. It was very gloomy, cobwebs, dust, ill-fitting curtains, mould in bathroom, missing towel rail, no hook to hang bath robes, beds not that comfortable but at least sheets (and towels)were clean. Wallpaper missing in part and were scribbled on. Tea and coffee not replaced for the following day. One of the bedside lights didn't work. We didn't complain as we were only there for 2 nights and spent very little time in the room.
