“Holiday Inn Thoiry proche de Genève”

Bon hotel 4* à prix tres raisonnable proche de Genève. Un peu perdu dans la campagne d'où nécessité d'avoir un moyen de transport (voiture ou taxi) Le centre commercial de Thoiry est à environ 600 m mais pas beaucoup d'activités

“Good location if flying out from french side of geneva airport”

Arrived early and got a room upgrade. Good dining in nearby St Genis Very good location if you are needing to go to the French side of Geneva airport. Its not signposted but just follow directions to Ferney and turn right just before the border (very small sign for the airport)

“Holiday Inn Thoiry: calme, confort, accueil chaleureux”

A deux pas de Genève, idéalement situé pour qui possède son propre moyen de transport, l'hôtel allie un confort certain au calme et à l'espace. L'accueil que vous réserve le personnel de la réception est irréprochable, rapide, efficace, serviable - ce qui n'est pas nécessairement le cas du restaurant, seul point faible de mon évaluation. Les chambres sont spacieuses, modernes, agréables et très confortables, le mobilier est chaleureux, l'arrangement de l'espace idéalement pensé. Un séjour fort agréable que je n'hésiterai pas é répéter.

“An alternate to Geneve”

An excellent hotel very close to Geneve at 1/2 the cost of lesser hotels over the border in Switzerland.

“Holiday Inn Thoiry Geneva Airport?”

The hotel is clean and nice, The food was very good. problems:* The name is misleading - it is about 30-40 minutes from Geneva Airport, and it is quite isolated. * The hotel didn't send a car to pick us from the airport al though we requested it in advance - we had to call them and wait for an hour till they came. * We assumed that the reservation included breakfast, on check-out we discovered it didn't.

“functional, affordable, out of the way”

if you have a car, and don't mind not being able to stroll around outside the hotel, it is recommendable. Hotel is well run, staff friendly, for Geneva definitely an affordable option. some traffic to get into town in the morning (but you have that everywhere in Geneva).

“very nice”

very nice accomodations; friendly staff. excellent food in the restauarant. I didn't have time to play but tennis courts looked somewhat beat up (nets low, cracks in surface). Scenic surrounding area just over the border in France from Geneva; getting into Geneva in the morning at rush hour takes extra time due to heavy traffic.

“Business trip to Geneva area - including Vevey”

This hotel is really nice overall and good value as compared to other hotels nearer the Geneva airport. It would benefit from adding a gym. Also the rooms would be nicer if they had ironing facilities in each room. Internet should be included in the cost of the room and the breakfasts were a little expensive if you were not eating a full meal.
