Très bonne expérience pour une nuit
Hôtel très bien entretenu, notamment jardin superbe avec bungalows disséminés tout le long de la colline. Nous avions les chambres en bas de la colline face à la mer et à la piscine. Bon confort, petite terrasse, beaucoup de soleil. Petit déjeuner avec grand buffet assez sympathique, beaucoup de choix, avec spécialités indiennes notamment. Bar et restaurant de la piscine également très bien : nous avons fait un dîner excellent et très attentionné. Navette également réservée par l'hôtel pour nous cherchez à l'aéroport mais payante ! L'équipe de l'hôtel est vraiment accueillante et à l'écoute.

Very good stay for two nights at Travancore heritage resort. all rooms at the traditional Kerala ambience. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Very clean rooms, extremely helpful and courteous stuff. also liked the fact that it is walkable from the beach and from the Shiva temple. One thing to note is, the property is built on many levels, and has many steep slopes to claim to go from your room to reception. May not be suitable for older folks.

Stunning lodge style hotel - perfect for relaxing
It has a beautiful, if perhaps a little remote, cliff top location, but there is easy access to a massive and popular beach. The hotel is stunning, if you stay in the Heritage Lodges, and the main hotel and restaurant is gorgeous. The main pool is superb, the bach pool not quite so good. Lovely gardens and fabulous staff. A really nice choice if you are in or near Kovalam

Ich kenne das Travancore schon einige Jahre. Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichem Personal, hervorragendem Essen, schönem Strand mit Bademeistern und der Möglichkeit, Ayurveda Anwendungen zu machen. Eine sehr gute Möglichkeit, um in Indien anzukommen. Allerdings sollte man darauf achten, dass das Zimmer weit genug weg von der Kirche am Strand liegt. Diese fängt teilweise um 5 Uhr mit dem in Indien üblichen Gottesdienst über den Lautsprecher an.

Nothing like the Expedia listing - the accommodation was terrible, even after we insisted on changing rooms. It's much smaller than advertised, it's dark, dingy, dated. We booked a Heritage Premium on the basis that it had a separate seating area - our first room didn't have anything, just a bed. Our second room had a windowless entrance hall with a wardrobe in, and no air conditioning in that room so not possible to sit there. Facilities - one of the two outdoor pools was nice and clean. Apart from that, there's very little. Facilities on Expedia page that DON'T EXIST - no indoor pools, no grocery/convenience store, no fitness facilities, no rooftop terrace, no health club, 1 restaurant not 3, no 24hr room service. If the above had actually been there, or if the listing on Expedia was accurate, I'd have felt better. However, based on the information I'd booked on, and the amount I paid, I feel very short changed. I could have booked a much better hotel for the same money. Another issue with the Expedia listing is it shows 1200 rupees as the fee for the airport shuttle - the hotel tried to charge us 1400 and only reduced it down to 1200 after about 15 mins of arguing. The only reason I've rated this property as poor rather than terrible is because the food was brilliant. Made my feelings clear to management - they did not care. Says it all really!

Cleanliness and decor are average. Layout of furniture particularly to facilitate room service could improve. Functioning of AC was erratic and the fan regulator was defective in both rooms 44 & 45. Warm courteous and responsive staff. Catering is average in quality. There are areas which could improve.

Pretty good but just shy of great
Overall pretty good. However my over complaint is that I had emailed the property to upgrade my room and they has informed me that they would. However we discovered that they had not blocked off the upgrades. Slightly disappointing. Bed was not very comfy. Pool was to chlorinated and resulted in facial rashes. Wait times for meals were pretty lengthy. All that aside, pretty good! 3.5/5 stars

Phenomenal Landscape
Let me lay out some Good things about this place first before pointing things to be improved. Three best features of this hotel are; Very serene landscape, the best food (both qualitywise and taste wise), absolutely clean and well maintained swimming pools. This hotel has easy access to a very clean and less crowded beach. All Maliali staff is representative of regional Maliali culture which is friendly with minimal spoken words and reluctant smile. But this hotel is situated in thriving tourist area and hence home to the worst vultures who prey upon tourists lack of knowledge about local services and amenities. And this hotel doesn’t do anything to protect its guest from these vultures, rather its employees are in cahoots with those vultures. Discrimination and exploitation of foreigners and nonKeralites is so rampant and obvious that I am ashamed to acknowledge that this is happening in the most literate and secular community of India. So if you need transportation or advice on local amenities, do not rely on hotel staff. You will be exploited shamelessly and in such a clandestine manner that most likely you would never know that you had been victimized. All taxis/autos working near this hotel & working with hotel front desk staff are charging FIVE to TEN times the regular rate and have hefty commissions set up with local thugs doing business as spice shops and clothing/gift/souvenir shops. Save your skin while enjoying pristine landscape of Kerala.

House Keeping and Gardners Very Friendly Pool CLEAN Food FOOD. The reason why i give my review SO SO, is bcaz the AC in my room was noisy. I complained, but the issue was not solved. Seconndly, my reservation was for a Premium Room Sea view KING SIZE BED. I got a TWO DOUBLE SIZE NOISY BEDS NEXT TO EACH OTHER WITH A WOODEN PLANK IN THE MIDDLE which was very painfull. This spolit our peace at night. Over all, it was nice. I would recommend.

Отель неплохой,территория ухоженная,хороший номер с лоджией, свежевыжатые соки на выбор. Плохой WiFi. Но я никогда бы не остановила свой выбор на пляжном отдыхе в Индии ( тем более в Човаре) Купаться невозможно из за волн, скука беспросветная.Мы выбрали этот отель только потому,что в нем предлагали 21-дневную программу Панчакарма.( более 8500 евро) Пройдя этот курс поняли, что это просто развод на деньги. Есть отели ,которые не именуют себя продвинутой аюрведической клиникой Anandam, а добросовестно исполняют свои обязанности за более разумные деньги. Сплошное разочарование

Very peaceful
A lovely location with beautiful landscaped grounds. The food is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. We have stayed here before, and it was certainly worth returning to. The local village of Chowara has no real "tourist" facilities, so if you need more life and choice of eating venues, you have to go to Kovolam which is about 20 mins away by tuk tuk (4-500 rupees).

Albergo bellissimo a due passi dal mare
Albergo inserito in un parco bellissimo, con piscina, ristorante e strutture stupende. Servizio ottimo. Piscine ottime, c'è una spiaggia nelle vicinanze molto bella per passeggiare.
