A beautiful hotel right in the middle of the city center and 2 minute walk from the port. Very much enjoyed the magnificent view from the breakfast/cafe/pool area on the rooftop garden and the friendliness, and kindness of all the staff.
This is the third consecutive year that I have stayed at The Met Hotel and it has now become my favourite hotel in the world. With great hospitality in a modern yet comfortable environment this establishment never disappoints it guests - hence my constant return to them. Their rooms are spacious, comfortable and in pristine condition with a turn down service of an evening for any further requirements that you might need before going to bed. The room service food is great as too is its breakfast buffet that they have which is fresh and plentiful with variety of food. They have a great roof top pool with a beautiful view if not the best that you can get of Thessaloniki. Staff are always friendly and helpful during your stay there, and as a regular guest now I have been ensured that I never leave feeling disappointed. Can't wait to return there hopefully next year again!

Everything was excellent about this hotel... Staff is amazing, super kind and helpful. The hotel is beautiful, very modern, great condition and clean. We had a sea view room with a nice balcony. It was very romantic. The location is perfect, walking distance to many bars and restaurants, as well as touristic attractions.
Windows are great, even if it's very noisy outside, you can not hear anything inside.
Breakfast is delicious....nota standard breakfast... They really go beyond and exceed your expectations.

Hotel has been chosen because of a conference in Hyatt Regency which was not far. Hotel Nikopolis itself is close to the airport, but far from city center. By bus (1 EUR) it takes about 40 minutes. The hotel is new, well equipped, with large pool, tennis playgrounds and fitness room. The staff is very friendly and breakfast was more than sufficient.

Read all the reviews before booking this hotel for one night (July 20, 2015). My family got to town late, but the hotel set up a shuttle for us from the airport. All I can say is this place was awesome! It was way better than many of the places I've stayed in the states and better than any other place we stayed during our trip through Greece. The place was super clean and the staff bent over backwards to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms were quiet and everything was clean and in order. The wifi worked great. The next time we're in Thessaloniki this is where we're staying.

There was a free shuttle service to and from the Thessaloniki airport, which was great for us, and there are buses that run by the airport to the center on the city. Breakfast was included, and the shower actually had a curtain, which is not really so common in Greece, so the bathroom stays pretty dry after you shower. The staff was friendly. Everything was great.
