“great value for the price”

Although an older facility we found it to be clean and well kept. We did not notice any other amenities however it didn't matter as we only needed a place to sleep as it was getting late and we didn't want to drive the three hours home after visiting family on Thanksgiving.

Surprisingly quiet for being on a main road! Clean and comfortable. Owners very attentive to needs.

We stayed 1 night in a king-size bed for my 8-year old and me. The room was clean, bed clean, small fridge and air conditioner all working fine. Bathroom was also clean and in good shape, nice staff, I'd definitely stay again.

“Lenox Needs Help”

For years we have been going to Tanglewood in the Berkshires, but only on Sunday afternoon -- when the drive home is in the daylight. This year we went to see Porgy & Bess on a Friday evening and stayed over at the Wagon Wheel. The motel was not in line with the price they charge. It was way over-priced for what you got! It is too bad that in order to hear good music one has to "empty the pockets" on an overnight stay. The on-site managers (perhaps owners) were lovely and soft-spoken, but the towels were as thin as paper, no in-bath amenities, old facility that shows (clogged toilet the next morning), and the barely-cleaned rooms, was not off-set by the pleasantness of these folks. On our evacuation route from VT to VA due to Irene (4 days later) we stayed in a chain hotel, for one-third less, with all the amenities, and even breakfast was included. Is LOCATION really worth the exhorbitant costs? I'll leave that to the reader to decide.
