“Good value”

This is the kind of place that is an excellent value for people needing a quick way stop. Not fancy, not up to date (CRT T.V.), without pool or attached restaurant. The staff (all Indian) were very pleasant and helpful and even had a resident cat who loved to meet and greet. There was a light continental breakfast that was passable in a small sunny room. The price was substantially lower than others in the vicinity and for a place to sleep and not hang out in this is a jewel of a bargain.

“Comfortable Stay”

I had no problems with this motel... it was a clean, pleasant problem free stay. Management is cordial and helpful. Plenty of parking. However, it is a simple, basic place... not luxury but just fine for the traveler.

“college student retreat”

My friends and I stayed at this hotel during our spring break. It was very inexpensive and close to all the museums we wanted to visit. If you are into art and on a budget, you need to stay at this Howard Johnson and visit MassMoCa (Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art) and the Williamstown College Museum of Art. MassMoCa is only $10 with a valid college ID, and the latter is free to everyone! We had an awesome mini vacation for about $50 per person.

“Williamstown lodgings”

The Howard Johnson Motel is a very comfortable place to stay with all the amenities that the American traveller expects (colour TV, iron & ironing board, efficient central heating, good strong shower, hairdryer & telephone). The room is very large and immaculate with extremely comfortable beds. In addition, a simple breakfast (cerials, toast, muffins, fresh fruit, fruit juice, coffee, etc.) is available from 7:00 hours, and is a welcome start to the day. The motel is situated on the main road between Williamstown & North Adams. It offers good value for money.

“Williams College Stay”

Close to Williams College. Nice, clean rooms with easy access to wifi. Nice free breakfast. Easy check-in/check-out. Owners/staff very courteous.

“Wireless not working”

A very fine hotel. No problems at all, except that the wireless was not working in the room. It did work in the lobby, however, and they were working on fixing it in the rooms.

“Good for an overnight stay”

Was traveling with family and stopped over in Williamstown just for overnight. Hotel was clean and comfortable and ammeneties were adequate for short term stay. Nice pool and free breakfast (while not extensive) was enough to get us off to a good start. Overall, I give it a 7 out of 10.
