"Hotel near to the centre with parking (at a cost)"
Pricey for what you get. The room was clean and comfortable so no complaints ther. Staff were friendly and helpful. There's onsite parking, but it costs! We left the car there for less than 12 hours and were charged an additional 18 euros.
We checked into the hotel as a family with 2 adultls and 3 kids under age 10. The room we were given has been nicknamed the palace because it was so grand. There was a separate master bedroom and a pullout with another bed in the living room. There was a kitchen and a separate dining room. There was a walk in closet and additional storage throughout the condo. We could have stayed there for a month or maybe lived there. It was close to the big park, so it was a great location for the kids. We had walked from the train station but could have taken a bus that stopped steps away from the hotel. There are also bikes to rent very close by. The staff was friendly and easily spoke English when they recognized my French wasn't going to cut it. Very comfortable stay!
Clean, spacious room with kitchenette; good shower; comfortable bed. Good breakfast for 10 Euros. Check-in was slow; however you have the attention of staff when it's your turn. We had free wifi but a friend had to pay 1 Euro per day.
"Well located and close to restaurants and centro."
Perfect small hotel located near Centro and rail station. Great restaurants in easy walking distance. Room was interesting but very comfortable for a couple. Staff spoke English and were very helpful. I would revisit anytime.
"Don't stay here if you aren't going toa conference"
Great location for conference, literally walk out of the door and there you are. 15min bus ride downtown. Right across the road from a beautiful park for walking or bike riding.
The staff are friendly but not always particularly efficient at what they do. There is a concierge desk but no real concierge service offered. everything from the 'concierge' seemed an extra effort with little follow up.
Little things in the room were funny, some days you get a chocolate and a water and other days you don't.
The air con struggled to keep up despite being on the absolutely lowest setting. A few calls down to the front desk made no difference at all. They didn't or couldn't do anything about it and again nobody bothered to call me back to let me know.
Breakfast was very limited and it always seemed to be a huge extra effort to cook me poached eggs rather than eating the mass cooked scrambled eggs. No fish options with breakfast.
There is nowhere other than the hotel to have breakfast which finished very early (930am). The lower levels do not have a view of the park despite extra charges for a park view.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful. They were quick to lend a hand in many different areas from requiring an extension lead through to recommending places to see and do.
The hotel is close to a beautiful park and walking distance to the convention centre.
The hotel is also convenient to the metro and buses.

Stayed 2 weeks, nice people at desk, allowed me to keep some soda in their refrigerator. Room was older but comfortable, quiet, clean, safe and convenient and had air-conditioning. 10 minute walk to Gallery Lafayette, 3 minute walk to metro, 1 minute walk to bus line taking you to main train station. I would stay there again.
