“Didn't want to leave”

The Affittacamere Villa degli Ulivi - B&B is a family business and in staying there we felt like part of the family even though there are several rooms available to guests. We arrived a little earlier than expected and were still able to check in and one of the girls helped us carry our bags to our room which was a decent sized room and one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in on our travels. The location of the B&B is about a 10-15 minute walk from one of the entry gates to Orvieto, uphill, walk a little further and you get to the parking lot with escalators to take you up to Piazza Republica which saves some hill time. If walking is a problem for you then you should know that there isn't a lift in the B&B and a car would help with getting up to Orvieto but it is a hilltop town with cobblestones so don't expect it to be flat and evenly paved. Breakfast is good, decent coffee made to order and a variety of cakes, cereal, breads as well as cheese, meat and boiled eggs. You won't go hungry here and it sets you up for a day of sight seeing. There is nothing we didn't like about Affittacamere Villa degli Ulivi and would gladly have stayed longer if our schedule permitted.

“Wonderful B&B”

Our only regret is that we could only stay one night! It's a lovely B&B - beautiful room, very comfortable bed, large bathroom - everything new and spotless. We were able to park our car there and walk into the old town for dinner. The terrace outside our room had wonderful views of the surrounding hills. We did not experience breakfast because we had to leave very early the next morning to catch a flight, but the owner was very gracious and was willing to try to accommodate us. If we ever get back to Italy, we will plan to stay here for several nights.
