“good value, convenient location”

we were pleased that we had opted for half board as we appreciated not having to go out again for an evening meal once returned to the hotel at the end of a busy day walking and sight-seeing. Although not the most exciting food, the buffet style menu provided enough vegetarian choices for us and the breakfast spread was pretty good. Shame no kettle in the room as we missed making a decent cup of tea when we felt like one! easy to walk around Puerto (but hilly): we liked the various gardens, the seafront walks, and the Footpath walks(leaflet available from the tourist info). the local Titsa bus service is excellent; you can buy a bono bus ticket for 12 euros and use each time you get on the bus; we bused from the airport south to Puerto in the north(much cheaper than a shuttle bus), to Mt Teide and to Garrachico. the bus station is less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

“Would not return to this hotel”

The receptionist did not seem pleased to see us which was not a good start. The Hotel is very "tired" it needs complete redecoration and our room was very poorly decorated and not too clean. We were on half-board but one look at the buffet evening meal was enough for us to go into town and find a restaurant - the breakfast was no better. We like the town but we will not be using that hotel again.
