“A good hotel in Tenerife”

This is a good 4* hotel located a little further than 1km from the centre of Puerto de la Cruz but taxis were cheap and easy to find. This hotel is only really suitable if flying into Tenerife North airport and was rather a long trek from the south. It is also worth noting that the weather in this part of the island can sometimes be cloudy due to it being located in a mountainous (but very beautiful) area. The food in this hotel was first rate and we found the staff very polite and helpful, especially as we requested a later check-out time to accomodate our late flight. The hotel was extremely clean and tidy and the pools were very good (one heated)with plenty of sun loungers. A shop was located on the premises and plenty of information was provided for seeing the local sights. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, although an iron and ironing board would have been useful. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were also unavailable but drinks could be bought during the day at the pool bar. Good evening entertainment was provided but visitors wishing a quiet relaxing drink could sit at the bar or outside. The town centre was a lovely place to spend the evenings, especially as locals gathered to watch the street entertainers and drink in the open air cafes. Visitors wanting typical English bars will however be disappointed as this is a more traditional Spanish town. Local beaches weren't busy and there are plenty of great things to do in this part of the island.

“Nice Hotel”

I stayed a week in May. I believe I did not pay much as compared to busy season. The hotel' s room was beautiful-the same as pic they show on the Website. The room has a balcony. As room amenities, they have a in-room safe, but you have to pay before you use. The gym is the same. If you want to use it, you have to pay. They have a daily and weekly price for staying guests. It cost 5 euro a day and 15 euro for a week. Also, their complementary breakfast are excellent. There were many different kinds of food, so you should find something you like. Oh, only one thing, the housekeeping attendants will enter the room, even though you place "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door (i put it, but they entered room everyday...)

Une qualité toute à fait satisfaisante pour un hôtel très bien entretenu. Situé à 10,15 min à pied du bord de mer de Puerto de la Cruz, cet hôtel est un peu à l'écart de la côte ultra-touristique et par conséquent bénéficie du calme et de la vue. Si vous arrivez en voiture, vous aurez aussi plus de chance de vous garer tout à côté. Pour finir, l'hôtel est du côté nord de l'île: le plus beau et intéressant sans hésitation.

“Won't be running back no time soon”

I can definitely recommend this hotel for any senior citizens and disabled in November. It did not have many young people staying at this time of the year, hence the night time entertainment. 100% for the hospitality staff (eg: bar and restaurant staff) their help and enthusiasm was second to none. The 'Front of House' and other staff (apart from the entertainment manager) was abysmal, they were unfriendly and hoped never to be approached for any assistance whatsoever. The quality of the hotel is definitely 4**** and this was reflective in all the facilities provided. Not many services for children (again was not in season for school holidays).

“Très déçu...”

A part la piscine et le jardin autour qui sont à la hauteur des 4 étoiles annoncées. Sinon côté nourriture petit déjeuner inclu et en option demie pension ou pension complète c'est désastre. Toujours la même chose à manger et une qualité vraiment très médiocre (plats très gras, lait coupé à l'eau, jus d'orange industriel à base de poudre et d'eau, viande très grasse, boissons en surplus le midi et le soir...). On pourrait largement lui enlever 2 étoiles.

“Will never return”

Hotel looked impressive but let down by unfriendly staff. I didn't feel welcome, the check in staff made no effort to smile. Food was ok, let down again by miserable staff. There was no service around the pool a few people commented on this saying that for a 4 star hotel it was unusual. So to summarise Modern clean hotel let down by lack of hospitality.
