Nothing distinguishes this motel in a positive way

Posted 22-Apr-2014
Pros: Proximity to Old Town.
Cons: Cleanliness, breakfast, bed comfort
Location: Look longingly at other motels and wish I had chosen them.
Overall this hotel was a disappointment. Had I expected a $60/nt hotel, my expectations would have been lowered, but I paid $200 for two nights. - Bed in room was reminiscent of an ironing board, absolutely no comfort. - Walked on the room carpet stepped into a wet tub to find my feet had tracked dirt from the carpet. Seriously? How dirty does the carpet have to be to rub off on someone's feet. - Breakfast had zero protein, no eggs, no meat. There was also no fresh fruit.

Close to wine country

Posted 13-Apr-2014
Pros: Convenient
Cons: See above
Location: Lots of wineries.
Only complaint was the pillows. They were so large it was difficult to sleep on them. An optional feather pillow would have been nice.

I use it every year.

Posted 17-Mar-2014
Pros: Location, staff, room.
Cons: Bigger beds?
I have found that the motel version of a Queen sized bed seems to be a bit smaller that the in home version. This is not unique to the Ramada, just an overall observation. I try to stay here every year when I am playing in the Kilt Klassic golf tournament at Creekside Golf Club. It is generally comfortable, convenient, clean and secure. The staff is top notch. My only complaint this year was that there were no bath towels in my room when I arrived. I did not realize this until I stepped out of the shower. Oops. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to dry a big guy with a hand towel? (insert laugh here) I survived and they were quite apologetic. There is no doubt I stay here next year.

Comfortable bed, terrible coffee

Posted 17-Mar-2014
Pros: Close proximity to downtown Temecula
Cons: Coffee, continental breakfast
Beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet that was included was only so-so. The coffee was terrible - burnt.

It's a Ramada Inn

Posted 11-Mar-2014
Pros: Decent price for decent amenities.
Cons: Bathroom
Location: I didn't stay to explore the sites- just went to a nearby wedding. It's about 10-15 minutes away from the wineries by car.
I wasn't expecting much but was relatively and pleasantly surprised. I stayed overnight for a wedding and will preface this review with the fact that my time spent at the hotel was 100% in the room. I got ready in an hour or so and then came back several hours later to shower, sleep, have a bite to eat then head back home. The bathroom is usable, nothing fancy. The beds were decent. I liked the fridge and microwave. Breakfast in the morning consisted of packaged baked goods and a waffle maker which was nice but not great. Overall, a decent stay although my biggest complaint was that our room faced the next door Harley Davidson shop and the sound of the bikes roaring in the morning wasn't exactly pleasant.

Affordable place to stay in Temecula

Posted 24-Feb-2014
Pros: Price was fair compared to others in the area.
Cons: There was not much offered at breakfast. Need to add a little protein.
Location: Many restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. Close to freeway.
We were looking for a reasonably priced room to stay while visiting Old Town Temecula and the wineries. While it was a little walk to Old Town it was doable. There is a Mexican Restaurant right in the same parking lot which was convenient. Overall, I would recommend it.

Nice hotel close to old town

Only major issue was hot tub being closed. Nice clean spacious room. Great continental breakfast.

Way too expensive

Posted 17-Feb-2014
At almost 200 a night I expect more than a motel. I thought perhaps the location was excellent based on the cost and although old town Temecula was in walking distance it certainly was not a hop skip and a jump. I wish I would have spent my hard earned dollars elsewhere.
