“Great Place To Stay With Great Rates”
I have stayed out in fallbrook for the last three weeks on business. This hotel has a nice comfy king size bed and the staff was very nice and helpful. I've checked out other hotels in the area and this has been by far the best for the price.
“Our weekend stay”
The only problem was that we had spent a wonderful, but exhausting day at the Safari Park and then wine tasting and I needed a long, soaking bath. However, there was no stopper for the bathtub. We manufactured one out of a plastic cup but it didn't work very well - leaked slowly shortening my soak. All else was great - definitely would recommend it.
“Garden Center Cafe and Grill across the street”
There was a huge field behind the hotel and it was great for our dog. The continental breakfast consisted of cereal and honeybuns. It could've been better. However, the Garden Center Cafe and Grill located across the street was to die for. The Chef and staff were amazing, the food and wine were superb and the ambiance was regal.
“Convenient location, clean”
One thing to note about this hotel is that there is no elevator, and you can't count on someone to be there to help you with your luggage. When I checked in there was no one to help me with my luggage up a long flight of stairs to the second floor. I did try to get the first floor but it was unavailable. Carrying luggage up stairs may not matter to some, but for me, I could have used the help. Also the managers weren't able to keep a wedding party quiet. People were running up and down the halls, Saturday night, shouting about which room the party was in, way into the early morning hours. Although I phoned the front desk and complained around midnight, their continuous, noisy partying was still disturbing my sleep at three a.m. Any talking in the halls could easily be heard behind the closed door of my hotel room. On the positive side, when my air conditioner didn't work, the woman at the front desk was immediatly helpful solving the problem with batteries for the remote. She also immediatly solved the front door to my room not closing problem. And she was able to furnish my room with a small refrigerator-microwave. Also the bed was comfortable and the room was pleasant once the air conditioner was working. It looked like there may have been recent upgrades with marble bathroom counters, newer furniture, etc. Even though I did have some complaints, I would recommend this hotel if one is needed in the area. Just be sure to pack light and bring ear plugs!
“Good hotel, good price.”
The room was nice and well kept. It was perfect for an overnight stay for a good price.
“Smelly room!!!!!”
It was a short stay only one night. The compalint we had was that the room had a funny oder wasn't sure if it was the cleaners or what it exactly was but wasn't pleasant. The pillows were very flat and needed to be replaced. Otherwise the room was very large and comfortable with a very large bathroom. I would have rated this motel much higher if it hadn't smelled so bad in the room.
“Econo Lodge - Low Rate, Clean Room and Minimalist Breakfast Offering”
We stayed 4 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. The room was clean, towels were thread bare but for the price, the room was tolerable. The continental breakfast starts at 7am and consists of white and wheat bread, packaged Danishes and bran flakes. No fruit or yogurt or other standard fare you may have come to expect. Drinks consisted of orange juice, coffee and hot water for the Lipton tea bags. The coffee was warm but the microwave got it hot. If you’re looking for a clean room at a low price this fits the bill. If you want more, go somewhere outside of Fallbrook.
“Affordable”
For the price, it was ok
