“Eager to return”
Excellent location, food, staff, ambiance. Small rooms, if that matters to you. The manager is a warm and dedicated person, creates a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.
“Blink and you miss it, but find it and love it!”
The Art Plus hotel is on Ben Yehuda street, but unlike most hotels in its area, the entrance is tricky to see. But once you do find it (the gray curtains help visitors identify the hotel), it's a completely different experience. Walking into the lobby is an experience in minimalism. The couches are comfortable, colorful, the room is full of art books. We chose the hotel for its convenience and location to the beach (right off Borochov and a block away from the promenade). We weren't anticipating what a pleasure it would be to stay at the hotel. Our room had quirky design elements - an orange chair, color pencils and drawing paper, mirrors that say, "Sweet dreams," and "Looking good!" I loved the eco-friendly aspect of the hotel - in order to activate the energy in the room, one must put a room card into a specific slot by the door. Add that with the rain shower in the bathroom and none of us ever wanted to leave. The rooms are clean, minimalist, but comfortable. The beds are of the sort that you sink in and pass out after a busy day in Tel Aviv. The one issue we did have was a concern with the telephone - we couldn't make outgoing calls, but we could receive incoming calls. Upon discovering the minor issue, a front desk receptionist worked with us, even coming up to the room to check out what was going on. The service was wonderful and incredibly attentive.
“Quality in Tel Aviv”
This is a first rate hotel with first rate welcome, free internet, free drinks, great (albeit small) room and super breakfast choice Moreover - the quality of service is top rate A really important point in an Israeli city Try it
“Good hotel, good location”
Nice, modern hotel. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Central location. Recommended.
“top hotel. tel aviv”
A well positioned hotel near both the sea front and city centre. Helpfull staff and would certainly recommend it for a visit.
“A true original and contemporary "Art Hotel".”
Would defintely recommend this hotel. No glitz, but clean, modern hotel with art work throughout and each floor featuring a different artist. Desk staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. Breakfast was excellent. Best breakfast of any of the hotels we stayed in in Israel throughout our almost 3 week stay. Outside lounge on 8th floor was comfy with cool modern lounge chairs. Nice varied library of art books in lounge opposite front desk. Only negative was small size of room, but was doable considering little time spent there. Excellent location for sightseeing and only 1 1/2 blocks from beach.
“Great stay!”
My recent experience in Tel Aviv was greatly improved by my stay at Top Hotel. The staff was helpful and the value was far better than I expected. The front desk man named Michael was especially instrumental in assisting me to get familiar with a town that could have been otherwise uncomfortable. There may be "nicer" hotels out there, but I doubt their location and service could beat that of Top Hotel.
“Good value and good service”
I previously reviewed this hotel on my return. I was very happy with the service and the friendliness of the staff. The central location was good and handy for both the central areas of Tel Aviv and the beach. The provision of a refrigerator in the room was very welcome and thoughtful. The breakfasts were huge and of a very high quality. I cannot think of a negative aspect to the hotel as a base for a business or tourism trip.
“Art Plus - a plus in every respect”
Used Expedia as usual to select this hotel for a three day recovery from a disappointing visit to the Dead Sea. Only 3 months old it was a complete delight. Many original artworks, murals and a library stuffed with books on art. Happy hour every day at 5, with wine, soft drinks, tasty snacks and a great buffet breakfast served by friendly staff. Only one block away from the beach. My opinion of Israel was saved by the Art Plus.
“Goregous bed linen, discreet and helpful staff, one of the best hotels I ever stayed in”
Didnt see the free bikes for hotel guests sign at reception at first - could make good use of those as the Tel Aviv civilised seafront lends itself for cycling - From Marina in the north (delicious fresh fish and free meze starters for not much money) to Jaffa in the south - which feels a bit more like true middle east
