Can't wait to returnPosted 2-Dec-2013 on Hotels.com
Our family enjoyed our three day stay immensely. The owner and her staff were delightful. We left the San Geronimo Lodge relaxed and filled with great memories. We will return with additional family next time.

Room was clean. Breakfast was amazing. Staff friendly and nice. Place is historic and so the walls are thin. alittle noise at times, but bueatiful setting and surroundings.

Great Stay!!!Posted 20-Mar-2013 on Hotels.com
We had a great stay while skiing in angel fire! The only problem we had was with the thermostat...the room was too warm. I would definitely recommend the Lodge!

Old historic hotelPosted 5-Jan-2013
Location: Difficult to find
Old historic hotel. Staff was friendly. But our room was disappointing. Although it was clean. It was old and in need of updating. There were beds crammed in a small area without hardly room to walk. Internet was really slow and bathroom was old and small. No counter space by sink to set the toothbrush. Etc. no shampoo was provided in bathroom. Tub and shower was old. I believe it's possible to take an old space and make it well appointed with nice furniture and ammonites to create an atmosphere of comfort and sophistication. But the hotel management hasn't done this yet. So it decreases the quality of the rooms. Fewer beds and more storage is needed. Central heat would also be really nice.

Cozy HotelPosted 30-Dec-2012
Pros: cozy, good breakfast included
Cons: room was cramped
Location: good; about a 5 minute drive to get into town
A nice breakfast was included each morning; pet friendly hotel - dogs freely roam around; room was comfortable and clean but a little cramped with two double beds; no closet; small bathroom; cute hotel but not luxurious; had to walk outside to get to my room; room was upstairs and there is no elevator

close to all must-see sightsPosted 3-Nov-2012 on Hotels.com
When I first got there I thought it was a lovely place. The service at the desk was cordial but when I got to the room I realized there was no air conditioning. Upon asking the front desk about this and actually considering leaving the lodge, she assured me that it gets chilly at night and opening the doors on the balcony would be comfortable. I did so and the room was comfortable but I would let the lodge manner know, that adding air conditioning might be a good idea!

Rustic, definitely the old west!Posted 1-Nov-2012 on Hotels.com
The lodge is rustic, old and very relaxing. The staff is helpful, the breakfasts are great. It is located just a couple of miles from the center of town. This is a great place for a retreat, reunions or weddings.

PleasantPosted 31-Oct-2012 on Hotels.com
The stay was very quiet and peaceful. We were there for the annual Hot Air Balloon Rally. The location was close to the launch field and that made the stay even more pleasant. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff is well organized and left you to your own while in the living area. This is definitely a place to visit again.

Almost a retreat, not the heart of the night-life.Posted 27-Oct-2012
Pros: The bed was among the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept on
Cons: The room was a bit on the dark side
Location: Outside the "city" by a fair amount. Very quiet and peaceful.
This is really an upscale B&B. The room was very nice and the bed was great. The building is somewhat dated. One of the light fixtures in our room started flashing very brightly around 4 am, even though the switch was off. Our room had a gas fireplace that would have been a real treat had the weather been colder. The breakfasts were quite good. It's convenient to the Taos square by car. Other than the breakfast, there is no dining in walking distance. Very peaceful setting.
