Placé un peu en retrait du centre-ville de Taormina, Villa Angela a tout pour plaire : grande chambre avec balcon doté d'une vue sur l'Etna et la méditerranée, personnel multilingue et des plus dévoués, piscine et déjeuner a la hauteur d'un 4*. Le service de repas n'est pas offert en soirée mais le service de navette de l'hôtel nous mène en 5 minutes au centre de l'attraction de la ville. Un endroit a recommander sans hésitation.

Week end à TAORMINE
Nous avons été très bien accueilli par un réceptionniste parlant français, ce qui est toujours appréciable. Notre chambre était confortable avec une vue formidable (petit balcon)sur la mer et l'ETNA. L'hôtel était situé dans un quartier calme, sur les hauteurs de TAORMINE, un service de navette permettait l'accès facile en centre ville. Un bémol important : le restaurant n'était ouvert que 2 jours par semaines, ce qui est très étonant pour un hôtel affichant un bon standing.

Arrivé un peu par hasard à Taormina, nous avions réservé la veille cette hôtel sans le connaitre. Le service était impeccable, les chambres sont grandes et très jolies, avec une vue imprenable sur l'Etna. Le petit déjeuner est très varié. Il y a un parking et un service de bus pour aller ou revenir de la ville, qui est à 5mn. On peut également y aller à pied, descente en 15mn, mais la montée est rude.

I made a last minute switch from my Airbnb in the old town of Taormina to Villa Hotel Angela and I’m so glad I did. What drew me to Angela was that they provided free onsite parking. It the town center, driving is prohibited, so you have to park far away and carry your bags in. After a day of long travel, I knew that wasn’t for me. The pictures of Villa Hotel Angela don’t do it justice. The property is just stunning. The view from my balcony was epic. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. There’s a shuttle running to and from town every 30 minutes. I decided to walk into town rather than take the shuttle and that took about 20/25 minutes. My room was clean and spacious. Breakfast by the pool with views of Mt. Etna was beautiful. The only downside was that the shower ran hot, then cold, than warm, then scalding hot seemingly randomly. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay and would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone

Our stay at Villa Angela was brilliant! You can see the love and care that has gone into creating such a lovely hotel and the thought that has gone into ensuring guests have a great time. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend and we will be visiting again in the future!

Antonello and Gianpaolo provided outstanding service. They went above and beyond and their hospitality was so appreciated. The location is up on the mountain and the roads are narrow, however the hotel provides a tram service. We look forward to returning. It was an amazing experience.

This is an amazing place to stay. If there was a score better than perfect, I would give it. The service is fantastic. The room was perfection. The view of Mt. Etna from our balcony having a cappuccino in the morning was beyond belief.

Great and romantic hotel
Super romantic place. Staff are super nice and the view from every room of Mount Etna is AMAZING! It's located 15 minutes up a mountain from Taormina old town it self but they offer a shuttle service at a fair price if you don't want to walk. Breakfast was nice and good quality :) only thing missing is a pool bar with drinks, but they do offer beer and soda.

テラスからエトナ山と海を見渡せる眺望が絶景のホテルです。スタッフもホスピタリティに溢れ、とても気持ちの良い滞在でした。タオルミーナ中心地からは結構遠いですが、20−30分ごとに専用のシャトル(最大で６人？８人？しか乗れないので要予約)があるので、ロケーションの不便さは気になりませんでした。夏の滞在だったので朝食はプール近くのパティオで頂けます。絶景を見ながらの朝食は本当に最高な時間でした。旅行計画の際に、海側のホテルにするか、街中のホテルにするか、山側のホテルにするか迷いましたがこのホテルにして本当に良かったです。

Literal perfection
This place is actually epic. Like - there could not be a more perfect place to stay in Taormina. The balcony views and lobby views and pool views literally took my breath away and I could not stop jumping up and down with excitement. Every room has a balcony and the view can not be beat. The walk down to the town is only 15 minutes. The hotel also has a shuttle that goes down there and it’s perfect. There’s a stunning restaurant just a 5 minute walk up above. The staff are so helpful and wonderful, and the older gentleman who greeted us and checked us in was our absolute favorite. We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and I could not be happier with this choice!

Best rest in Sicily
Best rest in Sicily. We just got married and spent a week exploring Sicily. Hotel Angela is a great romantic spot on top of the hill of Taormina. It has got one of the best views and great services to explore the city and the beaches nearby. Staff were very helpful.

Villa Angela is a gem, away from the crowds and the noise and a wonderful view of Mt Etna, clouds permitting. We were welcomed warmly and delighted with our room with its wide balcony overlooking Mt Etna. After a quick G &T on the patio overlooking a stunning view we decided to take the hotel shuttle to Taormina. It took around 7 minutes to get to the start of Via Umberto the main and vibrant street filled with shops and restaurants which leads to the Greek Theatre. The shuttle, fee depending on how long you stay, has set times of departure to and from the hotel and you need to book but it is well worth it, very convenient and inexpensive compared to the other option of a taxi. The buffet breakfast had a good choice with cereals, fruit, juices, cold cuts, cheese, hot food selection and Italian breads & pastries but could have been better. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Our gps had a little trouble finding but it's right at the corner of a switchback coming up the hill. Easy parking (lot is above the hotel), which is hard to find in Taormina. Beautiful views! And great service from everyone - receptionist, restaurant staff, etc. Great location, 10 min walk down stairs into Taormina centre. The receptionist we had gave us lots of recommendations and reviewed info on a map for us. They also let us check in early because the room was ready. Very good buffet breakfast, delicious and lots of options. Nice pool, very clean and refreshing with views of Mt Etna. Would highly recommend and stay there again.

Lovely place to stay overall. Nice, friendly staff, particularly at the front desk. Good and varied breakfast. We had a nice room with a large balcony and a sterling view of the coast and Mount Etna. While the hotel is not in the town of Taormina, but in the hills outside (thus the excellent view), the hotel provides a shuttle service at a reasonable rate which is very reliable and about a ten-minute journey to the outskirts of the town. The hotel does not provide dinner but simple snacks are available throughout the day. There is a restaurant nearby but it is a short walk away up a steep-enough hill: if you have mobility problems that could be an issue for you. We enjoyed our stay and would stay in the hotel again without hesitation as it is a quiet, peaceful, well-run place.

The Villa Angela sits above the main area of Taormina making it somewhat difficult to access however taxis are plentiful and worth the cost. Hotel shuttle buses are also available at a very reasonable daily or weekly rate. The location may not be central, but instead it has spectacular views of Mount Etna and the ocean. Watching the sunset from your balcony is an unforgettable experience. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I would definitely return!

Muy buenas vistas al Etna y muy cómodo.
Apartado del púelo de Taormina pero con un servicio de minivan muy bueno que te permite hacer la visita de Taormina centro con comodidad y a la vez estar muy a gusto en este tranquilo y magnifico Hotel. Magnifica comida, la pasta al pesto de pistacho, la mejor pasta de todo el viaje a Sicilia. Atención a Celiacos buena.

Great views and location
You can walk to the town in 20 minutes, or get a 5 minute free shuttle each way which is SUPER easy to use. Breakfast at the hotel is VERY basic, but you are not there to eat, and it is a bit annoying there is not a lot of water in the room but can get bottles from reception. But the main thing is the views from the room with the large balcony sitting areas are incredible, the parking is really handy, all in all amazing spot.

We are ,however, puzzled at your comment that the breakfast is very basic as we provide an abundant buffet (as many other guests have mentioned) so we wonder if you only stayed one night and took a packed breakfast? Regarding bottled water, we do not put lots in the minibar as often guests wish to store their own drinks etc, however, as you say, water is available from the bar/reception area....or you could have let us know that you required more water in the minibar and we would have been happy to oblige. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to our hotel and, in the meantime, send you our very best wishes!

Great romantic location
Amazing views, great facilities (Breakfast and pool). They offer shuttles down tot he beach but we opted to walk. The pool if a great spot to relax - they offer a towel service as well. Free parking and wonderful greetings each time we passed by the desk. Very helpful.
