I was suprised at the low rating for this hotel and disagree with it. I found the hotel and room clean, larger then I actually needed, and had all the amenities you could as for (microwave, frig, TV, FREE WiFi, ironing board AND Iron, etc.). I recently came back from the Dominican Republic and their 4 Star Resort room was nowhere as clean, spacious, or "loaded" as this room! Staff was also very pleasant and helpful. I will stay here again next year. Perfect room for PA Tough Mudders!

I've stayed at a few chain hotels with an expected bare minimum of quality expected over the past couple of years, and I've often been disgusted. These places used to be no-frills, comfortable and clean places to stay for a night. This Days Inn, while not in the nicest location (overlooking the highway from some rooms), was of a standard expected of a reasonably decent chain hotel, elevating it above others I've experienced lately. It was clean and in adequate repair. No one expects 7 stars Abu Dhabi from a Day Inns but a nice place to spend the night while passing through. This one is a good one.
“Clean rooms, great location!”
This hotel has very clean rooms(or at least the one I stayed on!), great maid service(who called to check if we needed anything!!), very friendly staff, and great location to local attactions!!! The only thing I would do differently next time I stay here, I would request a second floor room, since you can hear every step above you from a first floor room! I loved the fact that there are stores nearby, a cute casino, outdoor activities, and great restaurants--You have to dine at the Indian restaurant right on the premises--best indian food I've ever had; good prices and great service-- best of luck with your visit to the pocono area!

The people were very friendly and respectful as well as helpful. The hotel is old but very clean. The continental breakfast was not appealing at all.
