The hotel was walking distance to channelside and we took the trollie to Ybor. The staff was friendly and attentive and the room was very nice

Stayed for four nights and could not have been happier with the room, amenities, special treats in the lobby every afternoon, and personal attention of the concierge. Beautiful views and lovely location right on the water in Harbor Island. Walking distance to channel side. Very professional operation. Best business and pleasure hotel in the down town area. Highly recommended and will return every chance I get.

“The Hotel is good but not the Area or the Resturants”

The Hotel is beautiful, clean and wonderful. The views are great and the Atmosphere is great. However, the resturants lacked most of the menued items and the food itself was substandard. The area is does not have a walgreens, white hen or 7 eleven and the Hotel does not have snack machines. So Water, soda, candy or other snacks should be purchased ahead of time.

“Wyndham Harbour Island . . . One of Tampa's Top Hotels”

There were many features that influenced me in choosing this hotel. I viewed photos of the hotel and it's surroundings on the web and am pleased to say the views of Tampa Bay were just as beautiful in real-life as it was on my computer screen. The next thing I check was the distance from the hotel to some of the attractions, shopping venues, and restaurants my husband and I planned to visit during our stay and to my delight this hotel was in a perfect location. Finally, safety and cleanliness are always a factor in choosing a place to stay and we were greatly pleased with both. We really enjoyed our stay here and reccomend this hotel to others wanting to visit the Tampa Bay area.
