“Not very pretty/nice but good service and rooms were actually decent”

Showed up at the hotel and it didnt look very nice, we were very scared, but the guy at the front desk was nice, he let us check in 2 hours early. When we got to our room it was actually nicer than the outside, cheap way to go to Tampa, not the nicest place we've stayed but it wasnt bad in our room, afterall we were just sleeping there. Lots of construction going on so it wasn't very quiet but at least they are working on it. I would recommend this if you want a cheap place to stay. Very good location to go to Ybor City, this place is right off I4 on exit 3 and Ybor City is only like 2 exits down. So doesnt take long to get to some nightlife.

“Lukewarm”

The neighborhood is kind of scary but the room was newly renovated and the price was great. The hotel is convenient to the casino and I-4. The pool was beautiful and private as it was in the courtyard. It was very quiet but breakfast was skimpy. Overall if you are on a budget it is not a bad choice. As a woman traveling alone I probably would not go back there.

I didn't realize it was all exterior rooms, which I personally hate. The statement that it is near hard rock casino is an over statement and really should not be associated with the hotel name. It is a marketing tactic that turns out to be a disappointment because it is not that.. close or nice of a facility, very out dated.

We reserved 2 rooms, the one closer to the pool was a litle cleaner. The pool was closed the whole stay. The housekeeping refused to clean facial marks & ear prints off the windows.

it is basically a truck stop under I4. All night trucks pulin in and out made it difficult to sleep and the sink was left a mess and clogged up.

“HOJO review”

2 floor budget hotel...near highway so there is some noise along with occasional loud people returning at 2 and 3 am...basic breakfast with cereal, waffles, pastries, coffee/tea. Chinese restaurant and small shopping within easy walking distance. OK for an overnight stay

“Long in the tooth”

The hotel appears to have been renovated recently... maybe. It's just an old building in a less than desirable area.

when we first got to our room we found a cochroach.. not happy. changed rooms.. went out and bought spray to kill bugs.. also the pool was not cleaned the whole time we were there.. also i spilled chocolate on my sheets and they didnt change them for 3 days.. we were not happy with this pick
