“Top quality - a gem.”
I must say I find it hard to find any negative points about our stay at this hotel. Our only little problem was that there were tea and coffee faciliteis in our room. We were too busy to eat at the hotel except for breakfast, which had everything one could ask for. Perfect location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Drinks in the bar are very fairly priced too. I would not hesitate to recomend this hotel.
“A great place to stay”
A wonderful hotel in the center of Tallinn very close to the old town. The old town is just a short walk down the road. A modern, clean and well presented hotel with all the modern amenities. The rooftop pool has some brilliant views over the top of the city. Staff were always warm and friendly and offered advice and help when required.
“Surpassed our expectations”
Spent 2 nights at the Nordic Forum hotel in Tallinn. Location is excellent - just outside of the old town (we reached the old town walls w/in 2 minutes after walking out the front door of the hotel). Pluses: * Clean, modern rooms * Skype phones in the 'Business Class' room we received (on the 8th floor) * Great breakfast buffet Minuses: * HVAC did not work properly in the 1st room we had - it was way too hot. Had to move to a 2nd room, which was fine * One must climb into a tall tub to take a shower. It was a bit of an ordeal even for two 30ish able-bodied individuals.
“Very satisfied”
The hotel is very well located, just a minute from the entrance to the Old City, the breakfast is excellent and the staff very helpful. Excellent price/value.
“Excellent service.”
Well maintained modern hotel in ideal location close to old town and opposite large shopping centre. The hotel staff were all very helpful. The only problem was that none of the rooms have any windows which open. Our aircon was broken and first night temp in room hit 27 degrees! However the reception were quick to find us a different room at the back of the hotel which was in the shade.
“Excellent Value Near Old City”
This hotel is new, clean and well serviced. It is one of the few times that the hotel rooms are larger than those in the photos. They are spacious, modern and clean. You are really just a block or two from the Old City, one of the largest in Europe. The staff is friendly and speaks excellent English.
“Really really nice!”
Lovely hotel in a good location, close to the old part of Tallinn and the ferry terminal to Helsinki. Surrounding neighbourhood somewhat neglected and under construction. The room was very nice, quiet, modern and clean with a wet room. Slightly disconcerting were the semi-transparent glass partitions between the room and the bathroom. Brilliant breakfast buffet and helpful, friendly staff with good command of English. I would go there again.
“perfect location”
the Hotel is in the modern part of town so some traffic noise but we live in the country and it didn't bother us (room on the 6th floor), however, two streets away and you are in the old town so perfect location. Rooms are spacious and clean, it appears their way is to make up the rooms at whatever time of the day so if you like it done first thing in the morning, not for yFor us, as long as it was done to a high standard, not a problem. Breakfast excellent, bit chaotic but it is a big hotel and you can't expect cosy, quiet tables. Despite busying themselves, the staff struggle a bit to clear tables but food is plentiful and delicious. Staff at reception is good on the whole but grasp of English is hit and miss. We would recommend Tallin and this hotel to anybody and we got a good deal through Expedia so no complaints, only praise.
“Convenient and comfortable”
The brand new Nordic Forum, just steps from the Viru Gates into Tallinn's old town, is clean, quiet and comfortable. Bathrooms present a minor drawback, however. The 'sleek design' means that some bathrooms have see-through walls into the bedroom (bizarre!) and no hooks to hang up clothes or towels - guests need to improvise around arms of bathroom fixtures and/or pull-out mirrors. Staff are uniformly young, pleasant and English-speaking.
“This is the best hotel to stay, while visiting Tallinn, Estonia.”
This hotel is the best hotel I ever stayed in tallinn. The room is clean, bed is comfortable. It has great facilities to use, whiloe staying in hotel:sauna, pool, steam room. There is a spectacular view opening on Tallinn from the recreation area. The stuff memebers are friendly and helpful. I would greatly recommend staying in Nordic Forum.
