“Oasis with Sound Effects”
This hotel was a fortunate oasis in Tallahassee. We prefer hotels with pools and jacuzzis but otherwise, our needs were met and we were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and comfort. We had a humorous exprience in that a couple in an adjoining room were rocking the bed and making fervent exclamations regarding there robust lovemaking. We got in around 10 pm and returned to the room before midnight and the passion was rising again, so we requested another room and were quickly accomodated. This incident does raise concerns about the soundproofing however.
“Small Basic Room But Nice”
I only stayed for two days. The room was very small but very clean and well maintained. It was no frills (no frig, no microwave, no coffee pot) but certainly worth what I paid for it.

“Cheap and all the essentials”
Stopped off on a roadtrip on the way down to Miami, for what we needed it was perfect.
“Excellent Value”
When we booked the only rooms remaining were smoking but we could hardly tell that it was a smoking room. We got the suite style room and it was an excellent value and although not elegant it was very nice.

WILL TELL OTHER PEOPLE ABOUT IT NICE PLACE CLEAN. THE OTHER PEOPLE HAD DOGS THAT BARK A LOT.OTHER THAN THAT I WAS NICE.

“Very nice stay”
Wao....I totally loved my room. I was spacious and very clean. The bed was a piece of heaven. I have to do some traveling in the next few months to tallahassee and I will book at the Microtel everytime because it was a great experience. If you are just looking for a place to rest after a long meeting this is the correct place. If you are looking for a big continental breakfast the one offered here is not the best but overall everything was great.
“Very nice room with everything you need”
Besides delays at check in, the Microtel was a great hotel. The name doesn't do it justice because it was a much nicer hotel than the name implies. The suite was well laid out to meet all our needs whether we were staying a day or two on pleasure (which we were) or had been staying a week or more on business. The room was clean & everything seemed well maintained. The breakfast was merely adequate but since we had a frig, microwave, wetbar and even a small dining area, we were set to purchase a few items and not have to go downstairs. Location was a bit out of the way but we made the most of it and went antique shopping in Havanna. Overall, highly recommended.
“Nice Hotel”
This is, over all, a nice hotel. As the name implies, the rooms are quite small. But for my purpose, which was to have a place to stay over for the night, it was quite adequate.
