“So greatfull to the Hotel Staff”

The Hotel is OK, nothing else that what you will expect from a Days Inn, but also nothing less. The rooms are basic but clean and pretty big. The breakfast includes coffe donuts, muffin, toast and cereals. And the location is very convinient if you want to go to the Florida State University. But what I really liked about this Hotel was the Staff working there. We closed the car with the keys inside, we had no idea about what to do or who to call. So we asked the Staff in the Hotel. They not only told us the number of someone who could help, but also called asking for the price and the waiting time. They took care of everything until it was solved.

older furniture and fittings, but very clean. had problem with tv and manager arrived promptly and fixed. family runs this hotel and they are very pleasant. its clean, shower has excellent water pressure, location can't be beat (enjoy the mexican food restaurant right in front of the hotel, plenty of eating places within walking distance) - try this place. i think you will enjoy your stay.

“Proximity to Doak is unbeatable.”

The hotel is two blocks from AJ's Sports Bar and walking distance to Doak Campbell Stadium. If you want luxury, stay somewhere else. We had a great time.

“You get what you pay for”

I was looking for a cheap, conveniently located hotel when accompanying my son who was starting at Florida State University. This was it. Nothing to write home about, probably nothing to write a review about, just an OK hotel.

“Location...Location...Location...”

Went to tallahassee for my daughter's track meet at SFU... The hotel is in a great location for this event... Plus all the restaurants within walking distance.... Will stay there again next year......

“Good Hotel For the Price”

I found this little hotel perfect for my trip. It was located directly across the street from the University. I originally was scheduled to have a smoking room(only room available on line)and was easily switched to a non-smoking. Even though the sliding door faced the outside, the front door was accessible only after you entered a door which required a key card. So that made me feel safer. It is an older hotel, but the price was right.

“Mom and Pop Feel”

I stayed two nights, while attending an Orientation at FSU. It was convenient to campus, though there may be others that afford walking to events. For the price this was fine for a two night stay. I don't think I'd want to stay a lot longer though. Having a sliding glass door on the first floor is a big negative. Not just for security, which really seemed fine. The problem was that I could only have it blackout dark, or fully open, and exposed, no middle ground allowing natural light, and some privacy. I didn't eat any of the continental breakfast, so can't comment on that. Pool looked ok, not fancy, but good if you wanted to relax a bit, and cool off. Staff was friendly, and efficient, and there when needed. Room was cleaned, and the king bed was comfortable. This is an old standard type hotel/motel building, but again for the price, I wasn't disappointed.

“Close to Doak Campbell stadium”

Close to the stadium. It is about a 1 mile distance. Rooms were cleaned daily through stay. Motel is dated but for the price it is just what we needed for a quick mini vacation.

“Great location for football games”

I chose this hotel for the location only. It is within walking distance to the FSU stadium and campus. Older hotel but the location made up for the average accomodations.
