“Great Ryokan, great hospitality, great location”

This ryokan is one block away from the train station and a 10 minute walk from the main shopping area and tourist centers. As a single female traveller, I felt very safe and welcomed and the hospitality was great. I also liked the fact that I had my own private bathroom so the shared bath experience was an option of my choice, but not mandatory. The facility was nicely decorated, has an elevator to the upper floors and I like the fact that they offered scented oils to burn in your room if you choose to. They provided kimonos and sleeping robes as well. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this for a first time ryokan experience.
