The Friendly staffs , but the family room for four person was too small suggest take two double room for four person. The room cleanliness just average but the toilet some time little bit smelly but after watered the bath room, the smell were run out.

about 5 min walk to ximending metro station. convenient location for food.room is not big but at least it is clean and comfortable..breakfast was provided at one of the restaurant on the street..they give you the voucher and you can redeem it for an easy breakfast or use it as a credit to purchase your own..each voucher is good for 50 taiwanese dollar credit at the restaurant..

First time stay in this hotel, Seems nice but when open the room is looks old, n not in good condition...Next morning I see ant passing through on my bed when Im sleeping....Shocked

Happy holiday
Rooms were not bad,the plus things is that they have a desktop flat screen computer n free Wi-Fi, breakfast was not too bad,as you can upgrade your meal. The reception staff were cheerful n helpful. I will book This hotel for my next stay.

Really disappointing
Location is good. Staff are friendly. Room is dirty. Stains on bedsheet, pillow case, walls. Lizards droppings on the ceiling close aircon. Toilet has chipped tiles. Floor laminates torn. Room to small. Not enough place to fully open my baggage, 29". It was my bad that I did not do my home work properly before booking. Definitely not suitable for family with children. It is a Love Motel.

poor condition of rooms
the condition of the room was poor. the tap actually broke (a first for me), and we had to personally go down to level 1 reception to highlight our issue. the in-house technician promptly helped us to stop the water flow to the tap and the tap was replaced the following day. there was a part of the flooring which cracked, exposing a small part of the bare floor. the toilet is unnecessarily big. too big in fact, the toilet could have been smaller to make more space for the bedroom instead. it was quite crampy for 2 medium luggages. ladies might find it troublesome as there are no mirrors in the bedroom, but only in the toilet. ladies might want to bring your own standing mirror to do your make-up. there is no wardrobe as well. just a few hooks to hang your clothes. despite the glaring flaws, the room was clean. hotel is located in a convenient location and although it might look like a love motel, i did not see any shady people during my week-long stay. the staff service was acceptable. the hotel can also improve guest comfort by providing extra pillows instead of just 2 pillows.

The location is good, only several minutes from subway station. The subway station is the next station from Taipei Railway station, which is the last stop of airport bus. The room is very small, no window, you can smell wet and not so good. It might be a local love hotel turn to a tourist hotel. The TV channels inlcude two adult programs, may not good for family. It is in the city center. The price is good.

It was a relatively pleasant one given the fact that it is so near Ximending and yet quiet and peaceful at night. While I found the level of cleanliness generally good, the room was a tad small. There was no space for me to place my luggage. I was pleasantly surprised that there was actually a PC in the room for me to use.

Even the cleaners were friendly
It was a good location and the staff were helpful. The rooms were just a little squeezy for the 3/4 persons and the toilets with the semi-transparent glass doors was a little awkward for friends.

It was a little difficult to locate the hotel. It would be easier to advise the cab driver to use Chengdu Road instead of Neijiang Rd. When we check into our room, we spotted a cockroach. It looked like a love motel as the amenity kit came with a condom and there were 3 porn channels available on the tv. breakfast was provided at a nearby establishment near the hotel. The tuna bread was hard & had a kinda stale smell. Amidst of the bad review I m giving, I would say that the price is reasonable and u can't vomplsin about it if u just need a room to put your stuff, bathe & sleep.

Perfect location!
My two nights in Happiness Inn were perfect. It's just in Ximending! Only two minutes walk to the MRT station so the transport is so convenient. Many good and cheap restaurant around it. You will easily find a lot of fashion stores selling fashionable and cheap clothing. Amazing experience. The hotel is clean though the toilet smells a bit ( maybe it's because of the moisture). Anyway, among the three hotels I have stayed in Taipei, this one is the best!

Good for Backpacker on a Budget but Not for Family
Good: Room is clean and spacious for the price and location. Location is great (though a bit hard to find) Bad: No amenity to speak of Bottom Line: If you have kids, don't stay there. I'm a Taipei native who no longer live there but are still familiar with the city and the surrounding. First the location. This hotel is at the heart of the trendy Ximending area where teenagers and young adults hang out. The location is great. But I have the feeling that the targeted clienteles are exactly those teenagers and young adults. It's a cheap and clean place for them to have a quick hook up. There's free porn on TV, seriously! The room is clean but has no amenity to speak of. Basic toiletry items are provided but there's no place to hang your cloths, there's no shower curtain and there's no shelving to put toiletry items in shower. If you are young backpackers that just want a cheap and clean place to crash this maybe a good choice. If you are with your family you probably want to stay away. I took my family there and thank god we spend most of the time sightseeing and did not spend enough time there for the kids to discover the porn channels...
